Then property is set 600 metres back from a quiet rural road, accessed via a gravel driveway. It is nestled at the foot of Mount Knowles, and includes over 300 acres of bushland in addition to approx 30 acres of formal gardens and mown paddocks, one of which has a pretty dam. All areas have expansive rural views. We offer a basic bush site for self-contained campers, a bell tent overlooking the dam and a fully-contained caravan. At Bushman's Camp we welcome self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water. You must have your own amenities. Campsites are accessible for 2WDs and we welcoming camping vehicles. You may need to level your vehicle for a comfortable night’s sleep. There are a few options for camping. The land is undulating with flat spots, with open grassy areas peppered with gum trees. Other parts are more heavily wooded with gums and natives. Our Bell Tent overlooks the dam, where you can sit in bed and look out over the water as the sun shimmers and reflects off the surface. Listen to the birdlife surrounding the water. Adjacent the dam is a covered dining area with BBQ for your use. There is non potable water available but campers need to bring all the usual gear and supplies, including drinking water. There is access to a toilet, a 2 minute walk away (no shower). You will need to bring your own mattress, bed linen and towels. Our caravan comes complete with water, electricity, toilet, double and single beds, dining area and kitchen. The caravan can sleep 4 guests. Next to the caravan there is room for a further tent, van, trailer or motorhome if desired. Please add extra guests when booking. Outside the caravan, there is a beautiful sandstone ringed fire pit, BBQ, covered picnic tables, chairs, lighting and some firewood available. You will need to bring your own bed linen and towels. Campfires are permitted at all our listings when not in fireban season so bring your marshmallows! There is lovely views of the valleys and mountains beyond, and you’ll really enjoy the sunsets. No pets please.

Great location and amenities.
Although it’s was only for a night, we had a great time at Janettet’s caravan. Janette is a great host and provided us all the information we need to make our stay comfortable. We wished we had a few more days to spent exploring the neighbourhood but may be next time. Kids really enjoyed the campfire and chatting with some really friendly cows around😊

Wombat hole....
It has peace and serenity. You are at the edge of a beautiful forest, but still close to civilization. Go for a bush walk or just chill around a camp fire. Its a great relaxing place.

Amazing Campsite
Me and my friends really enjoyed Janette's RV campsite and her hostpitality really created a great joy in staying there. The scene is great, and quite really cool site that keeps your away from cities. It's actually not really (15-20 min drive) far away from nearest town for, so conviently to resupply if you needed anything. Looking forward to next trip. Thanks Janette

Loved our little weekend away at Janette's property! The property itself is beautiful and quiet, and the caravan was super comfy, clean and had everything we could have needed. Local wineries are very close and Mudgee only about 10 minutes from the accommodation. Thanks so much for your amazing hospitality Janette, we'll definitely be back :D P.S. the scones and jam were amazing!!

Love love love Janette's caravan! The property is stunning, nestled away in mullamuddy, off the main roads and alongside hiking tracks. The caravan is bigger than and the photos make out, as is the enormous fire pit. We were 3 adults, and during the very colds night were kept toasty by the copious amounts of warm cosy blankets and the heating works an absolute dream. All of the facilities you need are here, just byo shower :) We had a very warm welcome from Jeanette's and her gorgeous fur babies. The site itself is spacious suitable for camping alongside the caravan, and the space outside is great for socialising around the fire on the stone seating and undercover with table. Highly recommend visiting, and taking in the serenity and open space. Thankyou Jeanette for having us. we look forward to visiting again soon.
