Imagine a mesmerizing camping destination nestled along the banks of the serene Clyde river. Towering trees provide a natural canopy overhead, dappling sunlight onto the lush forest floor. The tranquil sound of water gently flowing creates a soothing ambiance, perfect for relaxation. Picture yourself setting up camp near the riverbank, with the refreshing breeze carrying the scent of wildflowers. As the day fades into night, marvel at the starlit sky mirrored on the shimmering surface of the river. It's a breathtaking experience that seamlessly blends nature's beauty with the joy of outdoor living. Brooman rests approximately half way between Ulladulla and Batemans Bay on the fresh water section of the Clyde River. The property stretches south on both sides of the river from the Old Sawmill Town located at its northern end. Brooman is a working farm and encompasses lots of beautiful spaces, restored old buildings, two small mountains, fertile river flats, native forests, grasslands, deep water holes, tree covered rapid sections of river and sweeping views. Brooman is less than 30 minutes drive to some of the most beautiful beaches on the south coast. Shallow Crossing is 10 minutes to the south. North is Pigeon House car park, Yadboro and the base of The Castle. To the West there are hundreds of kilometres of Forestry and National Park roads through some of the most spectacular forested mountain country east of the Coastal Range. The Clyde River Berry Farm is just minutes down the road. Local fish and chips, great coffee and handmade bread is 25mins drive at Burrill Lake. Some of the best restaurants and bars on the coast are less than 40 minutes drive at Milton and Mollymook. If you are looking to relax and recharge in nature or explore amazing country, then Brooman is it.

Burroman Flat Site 3 - Private Site
The site was lovely and spacious. Privacy wasn't that important because there was no one else there. It advertised water was available from a tap but there was no water available as the ibc tanks were empty. There was no supply of stacked firewood as advertised to purchase, we did take some to the camp. The access to the river from our camp site was steep and slippery, and no view of the river from our site.

Burroman Flat Site 3 - Private Site
secluded and private
We had a wonderful couple of days getting away from the city with an abundance of peace and quiet. If looking at a night sky, over filled with bright stars is what you are looking for, this is definitely it. There are some dirt roads to travel on, but if that's your thing.... heaven awaits!

Burroman Flat Site 2 (larger sites)
Good camping
Overall the site was good. It was big, heaps of space between us and the other groups. This was most of our 2nd time camping so it was great Matt had 3 portaloos handy, and 2 long drops that were relatively clean. The site is as described. Would recommend bringing good shoes as we found of leeches at the site and getting to the river can be a bit tricky unless you are in site 1 as it is quite slippery downhill. Thanks for having us Matt
