Birdsong camp is located in Bundjalung country that fronts the Tweed River. We pay our respects to the traditional custodians of this land past present and emerging. Our exclusive hideaway is abundant with flora and fauna- so bring your binoculars! Pitch your tent, or roll up your camper along side the creek at one of many magnificent spots... if your quiet enough on dusk you may just spot a platypus! Explore the rainforest, slide down a natural waterfall, sunbake upon the boulders. Located 5 mins to the unique Uki Village and its great Sunday monthly market, 20 mins from the arts scene in Murwillumbah, 35 mins to colourful Nimbin where you can get some great wood fired pizza! ​You need to be a self-contained camper with your own camping toilet/shower. There is access to drinking water and a picnic table. The campsite area can be driven on by 2WD, however if there has been a lot of rain a 4WD is recommended. We welcome all types of camping vehicles including caravans, motorhomes, campervans and tents. Please contact us if you're unsure of the local weather conditions. Take your stay up a notch with our Wellness Camp add on extras: - Local Organic fruit and picnic hamper - Personalised Guided Meditation and or movement session with Krystle - Paddle Board Hire No pets please.Open Paddock Site is suitable for ALL types of camping vehicles , specifically suitable for caravans or large buses.  This site has a beautiful view up into the canopy and ridge line of the mountain and an open sky for evening star gazing. Play lawn or ball games on the open field which once was the original Terragon Sawmill in the 1900s. Explore the rainforest, slide down a natural waterfall slide, sunbake upon the boulders. You need to be a self-contained camper with your own camping toilet/shower. There is access to drinking water and a picnic table. If you're quiet enough on dusk you may just spot a platypus! Enjoy warming your toes around the creekside campfire in the evenings. This site is situated closer to Kyogle Road, which on the weekends can be busy with Sunday drivers. If your looking to explore the region then its perfect!

Birdsong camp- caravan suitable
Birdsong was an incredible spot!
We absolutely loved camping at birdsong! It was so lovely to have a site near water over the Easter long weekend that hadn’t been packed to the rim. There were only ever a maximum of 4 sites occupied at any time and everyone had their own room. It was fabulous. The hosts were very helpful and friendly and very responsive with messaging. The only thing I’d say is it is next to a highway. The sound didn’t bother us at all, but our three year old made a run for the highway and almost got through the fence which gave us all an absolute heart attack. Other than that near miss, it was perfection!

Great spot
Camping at Birdsong was great. The access to the creek was excellent for kids and a beautiful spot. Close to Mt Warning Hotel, great for families. Cannot reccomend enough

Beautiful peaceful place, creek was amazing, kids had a ball climbing and jumping over rocks, and swimming. Krystale the host was lovely. Definitely recommend Birdsong as a great camping spot.

Nice place to camp. Water was lovely to swim in and the campsite was easy to drive into and set up. You cannot see the water from the campsite but it’s not far away. Krystle was lovely and met us on arrival.
