Such a lovely stay!!! The house is very comfortable with everything you could need, and Liz is a wonderful baker :) We wished we could’ve stayed longer to get to know the horses better, but they brought us a lot of joy in just a short time.

Wake up with MiniHorses Cottage

This place is an absolute gem! The cottage is exactly what we needed for a remote getaway to have quiet time and reconnect with nature. Beautiful 360 views of the NM high desert landscape, saw an amazing sunset and did some stargazing. Liz and Gary are super friendly and welcoming, they are very knowledgeable about the area, and their morning baked goods are delicious. Also on the property are two miniature horses, a mule and a donkey - THEY ARE THE BEST!! We were lucky enough to pet them (with the hosts permission) and see them roaming around. Highly recommend staying here! We'll definitely be back.

Wake up with MiniHorses Cottage

BOOK IT BEFORE WE DO AGAIN.

Hidden diamond....not a gem. This was an amazing experience. Definitely would do again and again. Liz and Gary are instant superhosts. When we arrived on this immaculately kept property and were immediately invited to take a pleasant stroll as the owners walked their miniature ponies. After a light walk, we retired to the cabin (we arrived around 6pm). It was superbly clean, well decorated and stocked with tasty treats as well. The serene environment alone was worth the price, the view while sitting on the front porch was an added bonus. All of the modern amenities are present minus a tv, but it would be a crime to devote any screen time to your phone with such an opportunity for relaxation. The morning of check out we were greeted with a basket of the best freshly baked blueberry muffins that Ive encountered since leaving my own mother. We took a moderate hike down the mountain side and made our exit shortly after returning. I would've stayed longer if it were not for a prior obligation. Go ahead and book it....you wont be disappointed.
