Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.

Tent Site on the water. This lot can be used as a boat launch for smaller watercraft. This is not a public boat launch. It is privately owned. Happys Inn is located within 2 miles. Endless recreational opportunities. There a many lakes in the area creating a chain of lakes. Fishing, swimming and boating are all allowed.Pitch a tent or two at this beautiful grassy spot on the lake. There is a dock but it isn't super stable. The fishing and crawdad catching are great. The neighbors house does have a view of this lot so it isn't completely private. They are super nice though! Please keep pets controlled and off of neighboring property. No bathroom at this time but a porta potty may be delivered if we have enough interest in bookings.

Upper Thompson Tent Site

Lovely site and wonderful stay! The swimming was unbeatable with the beach at the site, and the neighbors on either side were quiet most of the time. Our family really enjoyed it, and had a wonderful time.

Upper Thompson Tent Site

Found the spot without any issues. The neighbors can view right down into the area, but they kept to themselves and we did too. Loved the private lake access and use of the dock. The water is beautiful, and the area is clean. Since the host was not present, it was difficult to know where the property lines were to make sure we weren't trespassing. Typical lake noise, people having fun, and some boaters (not too many). Lots of nature to observe!

Upper Thompson Tent Site

This was a perfect spot for us and our two pups! It’s a little close to the neighbor’s house as mentioned in the listing, but it was still quiet, peaceful, and felt private. The best part is the incredibly clear and clean water in the lake! It was so refreshing and the view all day and night is beautiful. Be careful on the dock! The main parts are wobbly, but secure. The little walk on isn’t worth risking. We just stepped onto the main dock part from the shallow water. Very close to Happy’s Inn. Has everything you might need, and the food is really good. Really great burgers. Enjoy!! We hope to return one day☺️
