The Soto Homestead

1 site ¡ RV21 acres ¡ Shepherd, MT
This is our homestead! We live here full time and are constantly building on and improving our land. We built a single RV site right next to our shop that has a great view, is private, level, is a pull though and has full hookups (water, sewer, 50amp)! The site is roughly 20' x 40' so it can accommodate pretty much anything. If you have an additional trailer you're pulling you can park it somewhere on the property as well. We are located about 30 minutes North of Billings, just off Highway 87. No long term stays with the exception of medical personnel (traveling nurse or similar), message me for details. Beautiful sunsets, scenery, and lots wildlife. Our homestead is over 20 acres and abuts a vast amount of uninhabited ranch land, so it's very private, quiet, and peaceful. We are about 30 minuets from Billings and 30 minutes from Roundup so there are plenty of activities all around. Activities like hunting, hiking, fishing, Yellowstone National Park (3 hours away), and all the attractions Billings (the largest city in Montana) has to offer. Also, there is little to no light pollution where we are at so stargazing is really amazing. Or if you just want to enjoy nature and the view in peace and quite, that is available here too. Our 20' by 40' RV spot has all the utilities, water (non filtered so bring your own drinking water), sewer and electric (50AMP) and is separated from our house by our shop, so there is plenty of privacy. You can either back in or pull through if you want, whichever way gives you the best view! We built a full pull through/turn around that can accommodate any size vehicles, so you don't have to back up. Pets are allowed but they MUST be trained and on a leash at all times. Our neighbor has a small farm and we will not tolerate any pets from guests harassing their animals or disrupting the peace on our property. There is plenty of room to take a pet for a walk and play around on our property, however violent or disruptive pets will not be tolerated. This is our homestead, my wife and I have been building this place up and making improvements since we first moved here. We pretty much do everything ourselves and take great pride in building, maintaining, and taking care of our homestead. We would like to share our homestead with guests who appreciate and respect it like we do.
