Our property is located between Marquette and Negaunee, in Michigans Upper Peninsula. We are approx 8 miles from the shores of beautiful Lake Superior and 53 miles from Pictured Rocks National Park. We are about 4.5 miles off of US 41 nestled in a quiet forest like setting. We built our home here in 2019 and are continually making improvements to the land. We tap our trees for maple syrup in the spring-you will drive by our "sugar shack" and raise chickens in our very nice coop -say hello to them when you fill up with water from our spout/hose near the large fire pit and the coop. Come and enjoy some peace and quiet at our Northern Oasis! We are near rivers for fishing and kayaking-kayaks for rent on this site-see extras! We are on the route of the Ore to Shore Mountain Bike epic and not far from the North Country Trail. We have open sites and a few more private sites. If you don't like what is available please don't hesitate to contact us-we do have other options. The picnic table and fire pit is for anyone on the site. There are yard games, extra chairs and a small table in the red shed. This can also be used as a storm shelter if needed!Stay on our quiet property near woods, river and trails. Our home is on the property with shared driveway but privacy, peace and quiet is to be had. Adventure awaits! We are approximately 7 miles from the beautiful Marquette, Mi. and Lake Superior, 4 miles from Iron Ore Heritage Trail, less than a mile from the Dead river and the McClure Basin both are great for kayaking, fishing as well as taking in sunrises and sunsets!Pictured Rocks National Park is less t”about an hours drive. We are on the race coarse route for the Ore to Shore Mountain bike epic! Please let us know if you need ideas for exploring the area! There are a couple of small and one larger waterfall just off of our road which we could give you directions to! No

Beautiful wooded land!

We loved staying on Joy and Brian’s land. You can tell how much they care about guest experience by the way they care for the property, the little touches (games, signs, beautiful cleared areas for a fire pit, to lounge etc), and truly the nicest camp toilet we’ve ever seen. They were incredibly kind and helpful. when they found out we had just been married they brought over some home made syrup!! Highly recommend. The spot is absolutely stunning and only a 15 minute drive from Marquette.

Lovely and convenient

It’s a nice property in a beautiful area close to hikes and views and also not far from Marquette downtown. Also it’s easy to drive in to and the “outhouse” is really clean and nice. It feels safe as well. Communication was friendly and good.

Really nice peaceful camp site location and lots of gorgeous fall colors at the time of our stay (late September). Lots of trees to set up a hammock and relax at one of the community fire pits. Host was friendly and I'd definitely come back for another stay!

Beautiful spot!

Loved the whole property! It was a nicely wooded area that had everything we needed in terms of amenities. The grounds were thoughtfully cared for and everything was even better than expected. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect night in the forest

Our stay was magical and amazing here, we camped in our tent for the first time as newlyweds! It was so clean and well maintained with all kinds of things to do. We would absolutely come back from North Carolina some time, long drive!
