Log Hill Site #1
My experience at Levy Riceland Farm was incredibly positive! The hosts were very hospitable and accommodating to my needs. They even offered the use of a bathroom inside an unoccupied house on the property since the composting toilet was unavailable during my visit. The view of the Black River, adjacent to the site, was wonderful and made me wish I had brought my fishing gear! Cell phone service on the property was minimal, but that is to be expected from a remote campsite. Overall, I would recommend this site to anyone who is in or near the Georgetown area. It's not exactly on the Atlantic Coast like some other sites in the Myrtle Beach and Murrells Inlet area, but you really can't beat $30/night for a stay as opposed to $80+ for other, more glamorous sites in the area. My intent is to return again...especially at a time when the weather may be a bit cooler and, hopefully, with other guests to stay with.
