Barnyard Shady Day
We spent one night at the Barnyard Shady Day on 4/20, and it was awesome. The land was clean and perfect for tent camping. We were able to walk around the property and explore other sites since we were the only ones there. Carl was a great host, and made sure we had everything we needed. We rented a spacious tent and a charcoal grill for $5 each, and bought fresh eggs from Carlâs chickens for breakfast. The black cat, Ursa, was so sweet and cuddly and would come on walks with us. Overall, it was a fun time (even in the cold!) and we will likely come back for more adventures.

Piggyâs Cove
Looked like a Ghibli Movie đ¤Š
Had a great time tent camping on Carlâs land! We stayed at Piggyâs cove & my small car was able to get down and up the hill to the site. Their land was beautiful, they had trails everywhere. It was cool seeing the chickens out to eat and meeting the kitty Ursa. The outhouse was clean. The firewood was really convenient too. We went to Leonard Preserve to hike which was fun, a bit wet at a few points. We saw a few deer ticks so make sure to bring good bug spray & keep an eye out. Overall it was a really great time!

Piggyâs Cove
My stay was fantastic! It is so convenient to be able to buy wood onsite, and a great perk to be able to get some farm fresh eggs as well. That spot itself was everything I was hoping, quiet, rustic, and away from the city! I will definitely be back

Barnyard Shady Day
Carlandia was great! We made a quick one-night stop here but would so gladly return for a longer visit another time. The area is absolutely beautiful and Carl's land is so great! There were the exact amount of amenities to still feel like you're camping while having the things to make things smooth and enjoyable.
