Located in the heart of the Hunter Valley. Come stay with us at the Hunter River bush camp, located on our 20 acres! The campsites are located on our lower paddock - secluded and private. You will be likely not see another human in your time down there. Theres plenty of space for large groups and vehicles. IAs to maintain the private and secluded nature of this site, we have limited the space to 1 site only so youll have the place to yourself! The Hunter River is a short 5min walk down the stone steps, where you can fish and swim. The property has good access - less than 10mins from Hunter Expressway. 1hr40mins from Wahroonga, 40mins from Jesmond Full phone coverage on all parts of the property Fires are permitted - firewood available for purchase during booking. Dogs are allowed. Note that there are no toilets provide, this is a bush camp.Hunter River bush camp is a secluded and private bush camp, with good access to the Hunter River. Full phone reception, and 10 mins off the hunter expressway The river is a 5-10 min walk from the campsite. The path is made up mainly of stone stairs The site is a short drive from amenities including shops, restaurants and wineries. However private enough that you will not see anyone during your stay. Dogs are welcome, we suggest keeping them on a lead as we get lots of roos - however not mandatory. Firewood can be arranged upon booking

Hunter River Bush Camp
Great little spot, private and the river is great for a fish and a swim. Dog loved it too. Recommend wearing boots or at least closed shoes if you trek down.

Hunter River Bush Camp
I had a lovely stay tenting on Christian's site. Directions were easy and clear. Even though it rained the whole time...I was comfortable and cosy amongst the trees with a smouldering fire. Priceless was the look on my dachshund's face seeing his first kangaroo. Will be back.

Secluded Bush Getaway
Beautiful private camp spot. Christian is very friendly & accommodating. Quick to respond to messages and happy to help. Great spot for a weekend away with friends, stay in camp by the fire surrounded by nature or venture out for the day, close to Hunter wineries and markets. The river is Beautiful but a bit of a hike down & back up. The grounds a little uneven so our van fridge didn't work. An easy drive a few hours from Sydney. We will be back
