Happy Homesteaders is hosting a Happy Campers Backyard Retreat. We are a family of 5 dedicated to Self Sustainability and Self Reliance. We live it. We love it. And we love to share it with others. Come be our guest in your own privately fenced in camping site. Wake up to roosters crowing and gobblers gobbling on our quaint 1 acre homestead tucked into the valley of South Side Chesapeake City. Pull into your private drive and hook into the electric or come tent in our private campsite. The goats will greet you by the fireside. Lock the gates and let your hair down, swinging in one of the 2 hammocks behind the privacy fence. There's fishing down the road as well as a nice spot to kayak. A biking trail that goes all the way to Delaware City. (Ben Cardin C&D Canal Trail) We've got one of the most amazing paintball venues right across the street and the Bohemian inlet just 2 miles down the road. We are smack dab in the middle of all kinds of fun! Located between Baltimore and Philadelphia, our Happy Homestead is just 26 minutes (18.7 miles) from exit 1 off I-95, and just 16 minutes (9.6 miles) from Route 1, which is only 37 miles from Delaware Beaches. Have yourself a nice quiet night but know you are only a stones throw away from all the parties!
