Great Pond Camping at The Dome, Maine

We bought The Dome and property in 2016.
We live on a private dirt road which is a very rural and bumpy ride.
The previous owner built The Dome 30 years ago.
It is partially off-the grid with solar and wind power.
The land is mostly wooded with red maple and red oak, pine, spruce and birch as well.
The wildlife includes deer, porcupines, rabbits, squirrels, bear, raccoon, skunk, coyotes and the occasional moose.
Great Pond camping is a quiet wilderness type setting. We have one other campsite down the two track road far enough away to maintain privacy.
Only small RV's, trailers, and camper vans will fit in the campsite.
We own 19 acres of woods and lake frontage. Campsite is very private. There is a road. to hike and explore. Swimming and fishing are quite good on Grea

The overall vibe of the area is very rural and quiet.
We are within walking distance of the Down East Sunrise Trail and a short drive to Acadia National Park.
Pets welcomed, however do not let them run loose due to porcupines and other wildlife.
