Camp Site 1 Sunrise Ridge
Very quiet and secluded. Could use some leaf removal, hard to see road and had to clean them out of fire ring to prevent spreading.
Would definitely use the site again

Such a fun spot with great hosts! The cave was a unique experience I have always wanted to camp. The personal waterfall is awesome and there's even a tire swing to play on! Since it has been raining so much, the site was a bit muddy so just made sure you pack the correct boots. The hosts were very responsive and friendly when we had questions or needed assistance. I can't say enough good things about this spot. We will definingly be back!

The dogs loved it
There is something so peaceful about being surrounded by woods and hills without another soul in sight. Totally secluded and very pretty. I especially love that my dogs can run free, off leash and are in no danger.
The camp site was very nice. The added water supply was a plus because I didn't find any natural water source. I also never found tje cave but was on limited time.
I recommend studying the provided directions before going. I found it quite challenging to find. A few signs leading campers in from the main road would prove tremendously beneficial.
My dogs and I had a great stay. Safe, peaceful and very pretty. I would recommend this camp and likely to return.

Sleeping in a cave is a magical experience everyone should experience at least once!
This camp site is very private and quiet. If you’re looking for solitude to reconnect with nature this is the spot. There’s plenty of protection from the elements so you’re sure to stay dry. Excellent year round camp. Lots of nature to explore nearby as well with hiking trails and a lake.
One thing to note is this is pretty remote, you definitely need a 4x4 to get close to the site, at the very least AWD. But you can park further away and get in with most cars if they have adequate ground clearance. The hill to pack your stuff down to the cave is pretty steep and slippery with fallen leaves so plan your shoes accordingly.
** The closest store is a Dollar General and it’s 20-25 min away, so pack what you need. Also, I think this is a dry county, not 💯 but we couldn’t find beer, so if you enjoy a good brewsky plan ahead.
The host is super responsive and informative. I’d 10/10 camp again!

Cave Camping!
I have been waiting for a chance to camp at this location for months! Finally was able to book a few days and it did not disappoint! I read all of the reviews and was prepared for the terrain. The experience was one of a kind! I was looking for peace, quiet and solitude and that’s exactly what I found! I will definitely return when the weather warms up again! Thanks for the amazing adventure!
