We are located along the Marrowbone Creek on the route that John Muir traveled (route 90). Part of the beautiful Cumberland Valley. 1/8 mile west of Marrowbone State Forest & Wildlife Management Area. 1983 acres of only foot traffic. Hiking & Hunting. The Marrowbone creek itself was used as the stage coach route to travel to Burkesville. In some sections of the creek you can find the ruts from the stagecoaches. Sadly. None on our property. There is a shallow swimming hole that is greatly appreciated in the summer. Trails following the creek. Plenty of spots to set up a chair next to the creek and read a book, take photos or sit in peace. Indian Arrow heads are found here regularly. The area is a nature lovers paradise. A wide variety of birds like blue heron, kingfisher, sharp shin hawks, owls, pileated Wood peckers and more. Plenty of
