Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
This property is located just 10 miles from Red River Gorge. In addition, this property is located 30 minutes from Beaver Creek Boat Ramp. However, there is access to the water through Meyers Fork to put in a canoe, paddle board, and even a bass boat. This route on water will navigate you directly to Cave Run Lake. This property offers a one acre pond that is stocked with Croppie, Bluegill, Catfish, and Bass. Fishing is available on the property, and is catch and release. The property borders Daniel Boone National Forest with beautiful cliff lines and with endless hiking available. Common wildlife you will see is: Whitetail Deer and wild turkey. Rare sightings of black bear and bobcats have been seen in the area.Hip Campers have a bottom field to pitch their tents. Fire rings and picnic tables are on site and will be moved to desired location of hip camper. A charcoal grill is available for use, upon request. In addition to tents, hammocks may be placed within the tree line. If you are bringing a pet, we are PET Friendly. Landowner does have two gentle and very friendly german shepherd mix that roam and can be put up upon request. Hip campers will be surrounded by a beautiful colorful diverse forest of Oak, Hickory, Maple, and Pine. Very quiet setting nestled against the Daniel Boone National Forest. Red River Gorge south entrance located 10 miles from location. We are located 16 miles from Natural Bridge KY State Park, and under 8 miles from Broke Leg Falls. Rock climbing, swimming, and endless hiking opportunities surround the location.
