Camper Site
Quiet and relaxing
It was great using our pop up at sleeping bear's. The property is well maintained and quiet. I do wish some of the Halloween things weren't out all year round on the paths and what not, but I understand and it didn't hinder our experience. My son loved the scary Halloween things but my daughter (4) wasn't a big fan.
We will be back again for another stay in years to come.

Great Getaway
From the moment we drove into Sleeping Bear Resort we could feel the relaxing atmosphere. Everything was set up for us to have an enjoyable weekend away as a family. Additionally it was nice to be only 10 minutes from French Lick.

Great little campground
We loved staying in the deer site. We didn’t know what to expect and we were pleasantly surprised by the campground and our site. The teepee was spacious. The owner was super friendly and did a great job taking care of the property. The bathroom/showers were very clean and well maintained.
One weird thing was that in the fall they host an haunted trail in fall so there is some “seasonal” decor as well as some paintball hides. It’s not bad once you know why these items are there.

We were really happy at Sleeping Bear. I definitely recommend this spot for rugged camping with bathrooms and showers! Hearing all of nature was wonderful if not a little scary. We felt safe though.

Eclipse Visitors
We only stayed for one night to see the eclipse. Didn't get to explore much. But what a beautiful little campground. It was peaceful and relaxing. Lots of wildlife.
