We almost always have baby animals here on the farm and they love getting lots of attention and having someone to play with. We have a lovely shady picnic area down by the tree-lined canal. We are within minutes of Silver Creek world class fishing, Craters of the Moon National Monument, great hiking, and other outdoor recreation.

This spot is large enough for the tallest 5th wheels and your slide outs. - Utilities are $35/night. We do not allow generators. For Tent / Car Camping - - Our primary spot for tent camping is on the front lawn, alongside the house. - We have a 1/2 bathroom with a toilet and sink available - If the day you are interested in shows as booked, we may still be able to accommodate you. Personally, I love to ride horses and hike there. You may be greeted by horses or dogs on our property, and it's quite possible that you will hear coyotes at night (light sleepers take this into account). If you are a horse or dog lover, you are able to interact with our animals on the property! I am on the property, as well, for any questions/issues/concerns. There is a runoff river that runs through the property but rarely has water. We like to use it for campfires instead! Please reach out with questions and we look forward to your visit!

Minidoka County Fairgrounds: The fairgrounds are located East of Rupert encompassing an area of approximately sixty-five acres. The grounds includes a rodeo arena, display buildings (antique building, a commercial building, 4-H building), and open air pavilion for livestock shows, family reunions, and other community events. Hidden behind the main grounds is our small and quaint campground in a groomed grassy field. with a spectacular view of Mount Harrison. The Minidoka County Fair held the first week in August and includes a full week of events including entertainment, open class exhibits, food, rodeo, 4-H and FFA livestock shows. Numerous events are held at the fairgrounds throughout the year including Moto-X races, rodeos, auctions, 4-H events. weddings, horseshows, family reunions, and more. Note-Dates have been blocked for these events. We are fortunate to have this multi-purpose facility for use in our community.

We live in a quite neighborhood surrounded by beautiful farmland. There is very little noise and traffic and the night sky is amazing!!We're located one mile from US-93 and 10 minute driving distance to Twin Falls for fun shopping, great bars and restaurants, and historic hotsprings within the area. Just a mile up the road are the fish ponds, a great place to explore and get the catch of the day or head down to the Snake River for more water related opportunities. There are nice parks nearby and great opportunities for hiking, horseback riding, ATV and dirt biking, biking and running trails, boating, kayaking, rock climbing, skiing or snow boarding. There is excellent outdoor recreation any season of the year. The great Snake River canyon is 2 miles away with nearby Nationally Recognized Shoshone Falls, the Niagra of the West, with a drop of nearly 500 feet.We truly live in an amazing part of the world! Nearly every day of the year you can watch the BASE jumpers from the Perrine bridge, one of the only legal places in the country. You name it, you can do it here. We're only a few hours from Yellowstone National Park and historic Sun Valley is 90 mins north or the famous City of Rocks rock climbing area can be found south of here.About 45 minutes to an hour north of here is Craters of the Moon National Monument for some excellent caving hiking and exploring.We use this area for storing vehicles or riding toys so please be respectful of our homes and the neighbors.

We live in a sweet, little farm town with recreation all around us! We have biking and hiking trails, natural hot springs, Silver Creek fishing and canoeing/rafting/swimming all within 15 minutes from camp! We are 20 minutes west of Craters of the Moon National Park, 15 minutes from Silver Creek Preserve, 1hr from Shoshone Falls, 1hr from Sun Valley and 1 hr 30 minutes from Hagerman hot springs and fossil beds. Our 1/2 acre straw bale camp is open for two Hipcamp sites, divided by a natural privacy fence. There is plenty of space at camp for yard games, running around and playing! We live next door to camp and are kitty corner from the Oasis/Exxon station that provides RV dump, propane, fresh water, wifi and air fill up. We hope you enjoy your stay!
