This property was in my family for years but it was sold and we recently re-acquired it and couldn't be more thrilled!
It is very special to us because we got married here in 2008. We plan to make improvements each year and hopefully share what we think is so unique and peaceful with others who will appreciate it.
We are less than 10 miles from the Appalachian Trails Southern Terminus on Springer Mountain and is perfectly situated between Blue Ridge and Ellijay. You have the best of two small towns to choose from and some of the most highly reviewed vineyards, Apple houses, and restaurants nearby.

Come experience Fern Holler! This is a fully private 12 acre site with everything you need to get away and spend quality time with those you love without the hustle and bustle you're used to! This property offers two places to stay but they are close enough for families to have an experience that will stay with you forever!THE GLAMPER WILL COST AN ADDITIONAL $50 PER NIGHT PLUS A $50 CLEANING FEE. You still get the whole property to yourself but the Glamper will be locked and inaccessible to stay in unless you want to pay the additional up front $50/night + $50 cleaning fee and utilize that space as well.

THERE IS A $25 UP FRONT NON-REFUNDABLE PET FEE IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO BRING YOUR DOG.

Enjoy high speed WiFi, an Apple TV, charcoal grill, a hammock, picnic table and a fire ring with custom Adirondack chairs as well as full kitchens and living areas at both the Glamper and the Barn! (Firewood and charcoal are provided) There is also a 4 man hot tub at the Barn and a 2 man hot tub at the Glamper!!

We even have a playground for the littles and a glow in the dark badminton set!

There are no neighbors in sight, no distractions and no noise except for the songbirds enjoying the two suspended bird feeder cables at each end of the property. You might also hear the owls chatting throughout the day and night. Check the pictures for other potential visitors passing through. This part of the woods loses power often, but not Fern Holler! There is a 18kw generator now ensuring that you never lose power during your stay in the boonies!

Four long range walkie talkies as well as a Monster Glo Bluetooth speaker are also provided for your stay.

Try and find the two silly tree faces! One is next to the “reading nook” where you can watch the creek pass by. The other is next to one of the winding paths, which leads you to “The Island”, a beautiful, shady oasis and the perfect place to splash around! If you’re brave enough, cross the bridge to the other river rock path.

The Barn is a fully renovated jewel You’ll find a beautiful tile floor on the main level and a patina tin roof throughout. There is a handmade live edge bar, coffee table and end tables. It even has an attached laundry room!

The Glamper has a comfy queen size bed, a full size refrigerator, and two rocking/swivel chairs in the living area.. It also has the cutest farm style dinner table looking out over the field towards the Barn.

On rainy days, enjoy the 55 inch TV with a PlayStation 3 and an Apple TV 4K in the living room or the flat screen with a Roku upstairs from the adjustable Queen bed. There are also books and board games or you can watch the hummingbirds fly outside the window from the comfort of an oversized couch. To relax, you can soak in a hot bath for hours in the vintage claw foot tub cast in 1920 or listen to the rain hit the tin roof from the covered swing or the hot tub just outside your door.

The A.C. units on both levels are cold and the beds, an adjustable queen and two twins upstairs, are comfortable with all new linens.

Outside the Barn is the family fun area with a full size volleyball/badminton net. The supplies for other activities like ring toss, corn hole, and a scoop ball game are available as well.

At night the sky is clear and full of stars, perfect for kicking back and star gazing while the kids catch fireflies in the field.

NOTE-pets are allowed with an extra $25 non-refundable deposit.Please-no pets on the beds and clean up after them as you normally would.
