Had a great time
We had a great time. Very peaceful and quiet, our only neighbors were the friendly horses. Staff was friendly and accommodating. For things to do, the Okefenokee is close by and the beach is only a hour away. Definitely load up on bug spray.

Great quiet get away spot
Ashley’s land was so quiet. Away from the hustle and bustle. No problem for us on the dirt roads leading to Newell Lodge. Loved the small Bistro restaurant on property for dinner Friday AND Saturday. A wedding party rented the houses near road of property but with all sites spread out, it was still quiet. Ashley’s dad checked on us often to make sure we had what we needed. The property used to host rodeos so has the remains of the past history still standing. If we are in area again, will be back. Will bring a screen tent next time.

Great place to unplug!
My husband and myself booked this property for a long weekend get-a-way to give us time to unplug. We were pleasantly surprised with how beautiful the property was and how nice and hospitable everyone was that we met.
We had a campfire under the stars each night (which were gorgeous, because you could see every star). We also made reservations at Swampfire Bistro, which is a restaurant on property. Tina was amazing, food was great and everything was calm and relaxing. Ashley and her father were absolutely amazing and made sure that they checked on us to ensure that we had everything that we needed. Ashley was very communicative through the app and even let us know of road conditions as it had been raining pretty heavy prior to our arrival. We enjoyed our time at the property and will recommend to anyone looking to unplug for a bit.

RV-Buffalo Creek @ Newell Lodge
Great spot for tent camping, We had no nearby neighbors which was a plus since our kids could be laud at times. We stayed 1 night, to split our road trip from NC to South FL. It was quiet, clean facilities and Ashley provided wood for the fire pit. We’ll definitely come back.

Tents/Buffalo Creek at Newell Lodge
Nice wooded area. Lots of area for each camper. Bathrooms were clean but not modern. No picnic tables, I don’t like cooking on the ground. I had a tent not a trailer
