Camping escape
My family and I enjoyed this mini escape from the world. The property did feel secluded and there were some activities for the kids to do like playing on swings, volleyball, and a small trail to go on. We saw tracks of raccoons, deer, and many birds. The campsite is very basic so do not expect many accommodations. The owner was nice enough and let us use the shower and toilets.
We tried fishing in the pond in the campground but there's not much water in it to catch anything. The kids still enjoyed it though. You can drive out of the grounds to go fishing in the canals. If you're looking to disconnect from the world, this is a great option. We would come back.

Rugged, cozy,
Absolutely beautiful gem. The land itself is rugged and beautiful. There are lots of mature trees and wooded spots for privacy and space. I came with a group of friends and we had the place to ourselves, which was such a treat. The 3 cabins are uniquely built, cozy and comfortable. It happened to dip into the 40s the nights we were there, so it was super chilly but we bundled up and enjoyed it anyway.
The kids ran free all day, played games, tended an all day bonfire and loved fishing in the small pond.
There was a very convenient sink and countertop with running water and flush toilets, and a shower as well which we did not use.
I would recommend this campsite in a heartbeat. For total transparency, I will add that the neighbouring property is close by and there was a racket of roosters and turkeys and dogs howling and cawing all night. If you’re a light sleeper, bring earplugs! Other than that it was an amazing experience.
