Farm store
Offers products directly sourced or produced on the farm.
The property has been in my family since the early 1930s. the old homestead was my Great Grandparents, it still standing and I currently use it for hatching/hospital/maternity ward/ nursery/ dog rooms. The old barn is now where most of the birds roost. The Greasy Skillet is now a big chicken coop. during hurricane Michael a big tree uprooted and up-rooted the concrete slab with it. What is now my home was my grandparent's house. I renovated some of it and moved in after the loss of my grandma. We are a WORKING FARM You will see and hear all the farm sounds! You can pet the goats . You never know their might even be baby goat to hold and bottle feed. There are chickens, ducks, geese, guinea fowl, quail and turkeys galore. We now have Peacocks!!! We also have 4 BIG PIG that love ear scratches. We offer farm tours!!! There are livestock guardian dogs that protect the farm. They sleep lots during the day and patrol at night so they bark lots at night... We are a REAL WORKING FARM. You can join in on morning feeding or collet eggs. You can watch or help with morning milking! If you are real adventurous you can help around the farm!!! You can pitch you tent in the pine forest or in the open area next to the ponds! We make and sell homemade cheeses. Please check out our Farm Store ! We are conveniently located off of I-10 and hwy 231. We have numerus Florida State Parks within minutes of our location! Please DO NOT take Sapp Rd or Admiral Rd they do not go to the farm.

Site 1 - Moonpie Farm and Creamery
Animal lovers dream!
We really enjoyed our tent site at Moon Pie Farms. As animal lovers, we met all kinds of animals and got the opportunity to see daily farm operations. The site itself was far enough away from the closest site that we felt as we were just out in the woods alone. Absolutely beautiful!

Weekend retreat
The farm is an animal lovers dream. There are so many creatures to interact with and the location was perfect for us. Elizabeth was very inviting and inclusive to us for the farm experience. We will definitely be back!

Good for the plot
We tented on the property at a site directory in the middle of the farm: cows and goats and ducks and chickens and pigs and farm dogs keeping us company. It is loud! Lots of animals and lots of noise, plus it is right next to the interstate. If you want to minimize the noise, ask for a site back in the woods, or bring a camper. Lovely stay, be back soon!

Loved it!
Loved being on the farm. My city-raised son was skeptical beforehand but is stoked to come back. Nice sites under the pines for tent camping. The farm is close to the highway so next time I might bring earplugs or something though the noise wasn’t terrible. We make this drive a lot and we’ll definitely keep this as our halfway point stopover. My 10 y.o. son’s rating: “my favorite part were the pigs because of how cute they looked and the goats you could go inside the pen and play with them. It was really fun. So I give this place a 9 out of 10.”

Just what we needed
We received a very warm welcome and all got to interact with the farm animals. Location was nice (picturesque, tidy, accommodating, and close to things we wanted to see and do).

Charming Farm Near Great Parks.
We had a really wonderful time staying in Elizabeth’s farm. Our son loved all of the animals on the property and being able to interact with them. Although a farm, our site has a great wilderness feel. With a nice canopy of trees and a view of the duck pond. We were fortunate enough to be on site 3 which had convenient access to a hose and the outhouse and shower area. Keep in mind that the shower is a private room with hose, and the water was too cold for us that time of year. So plan accordingly. Elizabeth was a great host and did a great job being available to us while managing her farm. She also has a really cool farm store and we really enjoyed purchasing some of her products, especially the fresh eggs which we enjoyed for breakfast. Lastly, the property is conveniently located between multiple state parks that we visited including the Florida Caverns, Falling Water, and Ponce De Leon Springs. We loved our time there and hope to be able to do so again in the future.
