Fantastic camping experience!!!
Joseph was a very gracious host and offered a better site for camping since there was a better available spot. The site was clean, well kept, secluded, secure, and offered luxury amenities like hot showers, washer and dryer, electrical hookup, hiking trails, gas grills, a nice fire pit and gated access. Highly recommend this site to anyone who wants a quiet getaway that offers luxury amenities at primitive camping prices. Thanks again Joseph!

Most go, is the place
Everything was amazing, Joseph is a wonderful person and the place is really good, the cabin was clean and very comfortable, the woods on the property are beautiful and you can walk around the trails, the fire place is amazing and there is plenty of wood to burn, it has a bbq a mi I porch to seat and watch the birds, is safe as the place is well illuminated and there are cameras all around.
Joseph volunteered to take us to Walmart and buy groceries.

Our stay at Malakai was a pleasant sojourn in a peaceful, rural setting. Our kind host, Joe, welcomed my husband and I, and extended his immense hospitality upon our arrival. He gave us the lay of the land, and ensured we had everything we needed for a comfortable evening.
There were several great spots on the property suitable for tent-camping or camper vans. The camping plot we chose was near the entrance of the property. A canvas tent outfitted with a tiny, wood-burning stove was our lodging for the evening. Close to the tent, we had everything we needed including a large picnic table, bathhouse, seating areas, solar lighting, and a fire-ring stocked with wood. The entire property was well-maintained and clean with a laid-back, easy-going vibe.
On the grounds you will likely spot a variety of animals. Walking trails zig-zag through the property, and the likelihood of seeing wildlife and unique, local flora are plentiful. The pitcher plants and sundials were the highlights of our early morning stroll.
The location of this Hipcamp was excellent. Malakai was a short drive to some absolutely gorgeous beaches. The national seashore near Navarre Beach was pristinely natural and beautiful. There were so many great opportunities for fun day trips all within a very short drive.
My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Malakai. Thank you for sharing your land with us, Joe. We truly appreciate it!

Wonderful stay!
Joseph’s place was fantastic! One of the best HipCamps I’ve stayed at. As a solo female traveler, I felt comfy and safe in the cabin. There was a little kitchen corner with a mini fridge, microwave, hot plate, and coffee maker. The bathroom hut was adorable and had a great, hot shower and access to a washer and dryer. His photos don’t do it justice!

Joseph graciously allowed me and my dog to stay while evacuated for the storm despite being in the middle of renovations. It is cozy and all the little amenities make it just right for a comfortable stay

bathhouse was safe, clean, and private. It wasn't that far from our cabin. (MAL'akhi) has a lil back deck, with wheel chair accessible. (Ramp) The grounds where very clean. Many Beautiful trees and plants, wild things to pop out for a surprise photo opportunities! Such as many different types of lizards, 🦎frogs 🐸 dragonfly and other reptiles to see. 🐍
There were a few trails that Joe has cut out that we ran out of time and didn't get to go explore but that leaves something for the next adventure when we return!!!
Our Host Joe, was beyond kind and willing to make my Wife and I needs met. From helping us figure out where to go and what to do; the good beaches to visit, places to eat and shop; to a more personal relationship if you allow the time and moment. ❤️ (Christian Camp). ✝️ We always felt welcome and it is a very special place to our hearts for years to come. We will definitely try to return if we are able to.
Enjoy your stay!! Don't forget bug spray!!!!🦟🦟🦟
God Bless!
