Tucked away on a private road, yet minutes away from water activities, manatees, springs, shopping and eateries.  Your home away from home has everything you need.  No muss and fuss here, just grab your clothes and go.  We've already thought of everything else you'll need.  Come enjoy peaceful nights after a sun-filled day! Learn more about this land: Your Crystal River Bumble Bee Bungalow is fully furnished for your awesome camp experience!  We are just minutes away from King's Bay, Hunter Springs, Ft. Island Trail, and Three Sisters Springs where you can enjoy plenty of swimming, snorkeling, manatee sighting and kayaking.  Rainbow Springs is about 25 minutes away offering hiking, waterfalls, swimming or a four-hour tube ride down the river.  We also have a lot of great local eateries we think you'll really enjoy! Your bungalow has a full sized bed with two bunk beds, electricity, an Inside toilet and shower, heater and air conditioner. Your kitchen has dishes, pots, pans, a hot plate, microwave, coffee pot, mini frig, towels and basic cooking utensils. There is also an outdoor Weber charcoal cooker for your use or plenty of sticks nearby to roast a hot dog over your own fire pit! Don't forget to click the firewood on your booking, and we'll have that taken care of too. Complete with fresh bedding so all you have to do is grab your backpack with clothes and get in the car. Okay, maybe bring your favorite pillow and snacks. Don't forget the snacks! Possibly some charcoal and bug spray if you like. Sleeps four comfortably.  We also have a furnished cabin on the grounds which also sleeps four and is ideal if you're traveling with another family or group!  To locate, that site is called "Crystal River Cabin Getaway". Dogs are always welcome, but we ask you please pick up after them. There is a Trail for Tails for your four-legged family members. Also on site is a separate primitive outside heated shower if you want to experience the fullness of camp life. We also have a bistro barn area that is part of your site with extra room for cooking or just hanging out. This is on our home site property, but you will find it peaceful and fun with lots of things to do nearby or just hanging out back at the camp. Publix, DG, Mexican restaurant, Beef O'Brady's and Pizza Place at the end of the street for last-minute necessities or chow.  We look forward to your stay!

      Overall we were highly disappointed. This wasn’t private at all. The trailer was within arms distance of their house and another cabin within 25 feet. The hosts never responded and weren’t even around the entire night. I texted them multiple times with concerns and never got even a response. Would not recommend.

      Enjoyed staying in the Busy Bee Bungalow. Cute, clean and cozy with ice cold air. Quiet and private place to hang outdoors next to the bungalow with the view of woods. So close to the Springs to swim and kayak. Coleen was very sweet and I would stay here again.

      Quant little getaway. It was perfect for a night when we didn’t want to deal with a hotel and it’s in a perfect location too. Colleen was super friendly and responsive.

      There's plenty of privacy and a lovely atmosphere. The shelter hangout had games and a hammock, as well as a microwave and hotplate. Beautiful camper, beautiful property, and wonderful hosts.

      Perfect space for self care

      The space and RV was absolutely wonderful! I felt super safe and Colleen was an incredible and gracious host. I got to build an incredible campfire, take an outdoor shower, and practice self care. I highly recommend this space.

      Relaxing weekend

      My hubby and I stayed in Colleen's RV this weekend. Upon arriving, I was a little concerned that the RV was right next to their house and we wanted a quiet weekend away. I didn't need to worry. It was quiet. We brought an air mattress to put on the dining room table that turns into a bed, and that helped with the stiff bed. I would suggest to the owners a few little things, like cleaning the mold off the swing, hammock, and outdoor shower to make it nicer to enjoy these additional touches to the site. Overall, we had a good time, Colleen was super sweet when we asked for anything like a scrubby to clean dishes with, and my husband told me on the way home, he would like to go back.

      Wonderful Hidden Gem !!! The Nature Coast is full of hidden gems and This place is one of them !! From the moment I was greeted by the hosts - I knew I made a great choice !! Lots of sports options for kids. Lots of firewood — I added that in the app along with a nice variety of kayaks and even a Pedal Boat with a COOLER that you can rent. Definitely next time ! The Busy Bee sits in great location. The Camp is down a dead end street and into an isolated and quiet wooded lot. Unspoiled Florida woods line the back of the camp with some Real nature trails. You would think you are in the middle of nowhere and these will take you there !! But you would only be kinda right. All about a mile to one of Crystal Rivers’ shopping centers for food and supplies. Publix, DG, Brothers Pizza which my choice for dinner. I followed that up a wonderful campfire under starlit skies for dessert. Once you it on Google Maps - you’ll understand how cool and unique the location is. I stayed in the cabin —with A/C !! Owners had heaters for the chilly nights which I was told I had just missed. I enjoyed some very comfortable sleeping conditions. Nice mattress, nice sheets and a HOT shower in the morning. Better than a Motel - at least for me !! Clean, comfy and even has WiFi for the people who can’t let go (do it for at least a little while !!) Book a stay, rent a kayak and enjoy a campfire and relax at the Busy Bee. A great place for a base camp to explore Crystal River and the Nature Coast !! DM

      Mislead and disappointed

      Disappointing experience. Host claimed a queen bed when it is actually a dining table that converts into a bed! Misleading and definitely not comfortable. The night of our stay was after a cold front moved through. The host did not have a heater available until hours after we requested. No hot water so a shower was out of the question.
