Get ready for a perfect night of silence and stargazing! S'mores if you bring 'em, fires are allowed in the fire rings provided, according to Park County fire ban, so check before you schedule/arrive. Plenty of space to bike, run, play, etc. Bring ya wife, bring ya kids, just have fun. Wide open flat space for whatever your heart desires. Fishing and kayaking available nearby. Dry lavatory provided, please don't poop where others might sleep, we have thrones for that (Ya silly goose!). Trash cans are also provided so let's keep it clean and toss or tie stuff down, as it can get windy.
Big cities are great, but the light pollution and noise can make it more difficult to enjoy the outdoors. To lay under the stars at night and enjoy silence and company of those around you is just the r&r you need to refresh.
Stargazer's Solitude is the perfect place to get away from the light pollution and chaos of the city for a weekend or more. The roads may be bumpy, but the night views are breathtaking!
