Where Rabbit Hole Ranch now exists began many years ago as place through which many Native tribes would migrate. Making use of the nearby hot springs, even enemy tribes would set down their weapons and share both resources and stories.
My property offers beautiful unobstructed views of Mt. Blanca Massif and the Great Sand Dunes. Only a 35 minute drive from both to include Zapata Falls. The Great Sand Dunes National Park is a must-see, and I am grateful for the opportunity to offer you a place nearby to set up camp and go exploring.
Fishing is 15 minutes north at San Luis Lakes or the Rio Grande. Alamosa is 25 minutes away and has a population of around 10,000, so has the goods and services you will need.
Camping here is primitive and dispersed (no numbered sites) and there 30 acres available for you to use. Ty

Our two Great Pyrenees are there to keep our chickens (and campers) safe from coyotes, but be careful leaving food or trash in tents as a family of foxes has been hanging around. Please keep your pets on leash or under control until you’re comfortably certain they get along with our gentle giants. Quiet time begins at 10pm.
Note: Holidays still offer the excellent location and spectacular views, but are likely to be less quiet and more busy. We do not strictly enforce quiet time during holidays.
