Lower Blanco Camping Hideaway
Very simple and private spot for an overnight stay while car camping with dogs. It was peaceful and very quiet. It was a little difficult to find because it is not at the end of the dirt road, but the camp is at the end of a dirt drive oof the dirt road. I eventually figured it out when I saw the post with the number on it... it was almost hidden by grass. Download or screenshot instructions because as described, there is no cell service. I parked backed up to a tall embankment that felt pretty secure. Dirt underfoot. It is a leveled spot on a slope. Was visited by wild turkeys in the evening. The stars were breathtaking. VERY cold morning in mid-October (25 degrees.) I would have appreciated having a fire.

I went at night so it wasn’t the easiest to see, but the instructions given were very easy to follow. Nice, Private area. Big enough for my car and still would have had more than enough space for a tent. Some nice trees for hammocks.

My stay on Corbins land was so wonderful! I have some severe environmental sensitivities and it provided the perfect reset and recharge I needed. Peaceful, private, some wild turkey visits, crystal clear directions, 30 min from town and at the time if my visit the smell of wildflowers washed over me as soon as I stepped out of the truck. Simply delightful. With some careful maneuvering I was able to back in my 17' casita trailer and snag a fair amount of shade during certain times of the day. I highly recommend this spot for the self reliant camper looking to get away.

Very Peaceful!
Off the beaten path which we were looking for! Camped in our Wrangler roof top tent. Not a whole lot of level spaces but we made due pretty quickly. Deer and turkey around - so pretty! Attentive host great directions to the location.
