Relax on 3 expansive acres with sunny meadows and some hidden forest nooks. The property has a remote feel to it but is just minutes from the quaint coastal town of Trinidad. A beautiful walk down quiet country road takes you to Secret Beach. Fresh vegetables from the garden are available for your use. A number of beaches nearby allow for surfing, kayaking, and swimming. We are located 5 miles from Sumeg State Park with beautiful hikes, vistas, beaches, and indigenous historical sites.Unwind in the elfin cabin with all the amenities. Cute one room space, with kitchen, shower, and front deck. California King, comfy bed. Use as a home base for exploring all that Humboldt county has to offer - rivers, beaches, forest, craft breweries, Arcata plaza, old town Eureka shops. A half mile from the cabin boasts the best restaurant in town - Larrupin's - where you can dine on fresh fish and smoked meats. A half hour north is Trees of Mystery with a sky tram. Fun fact, this cabin was moved from our neighbors and reconstructed with love and patience by the current owners. Features include a cobb floor and artisan woodwork by the original designer.

Live Edge Cabin

We loved staying at the Live Edge Studio while visiting Redwood National Park and were pleasantly surprised by how spacious and special this spot is. We'd travel back to Trinidad just to stay here again! We enjoyed the fresh veggies from the garden, wild blackberries, and the beach just a half mile away. The bed was comfortable and the heaters in the studio made the space so cozy. The provided snacks, oatmeal, and coffee were such a treat. I would recommend this spot to anyone looking for a peaceful accommodation in a natural setting.

Live Edge Cabin

Quiet and Serene

The minute we arrived there was a strong sense of calm. Such a serene location down a narrow winding coastal road. The studio was very sweet and comfortable with plenty of space, zero plastic and all natural soap. Lisa and Jeff were both very nice and welcoming! The local beach spot was very nice as well. It was a good walk down the road and a somewhat steep beach access! We absolutely loved it and would love to visit again. Thank you!

Live Edge Cabin

Wonderful stay!

A wonderful place to stay near the redwoods! The guesthouse really feels like a remote retreat, but it’s located within a short distance to anything you might need. Not to mention it’s beautifully situated in Trinidad, a gorgeous little costal town. Lisa and Jeff are great hosts and provided so many amenities. They were very helpful answering any questions, and offering suggestions for nearby dining. (The pizza place is delicious!) There’s also an incredibly convenient supermarket nearby. We also really loved the fire pit right outside our door, stocked with firewood and comfy chairs. And be sure to visit the secret beach! Last but not least, Covey is a total sweetheart :)
