Sky Fire Ranch is a 5 acre parcel of land located on the last frontier of the Californian wild west in a place called, "Wonder Valley." We're less than a 10-minute drive from the Oasis (or the East Entrance) into Joshua Tree National Park, and are surrounded on all sides by wilderness areas such as the Sheephole Valley, Cleghorn Wilderness, and of course... Joshua Tree National Park. In fact, you can access the park on foot from Sky Fire Ranch. Yes, you can hike into the park from the ranch -that is how close we are! Campers at Sky Fire Ranch can enjoy amenities such as the cowboy tub, horseshoe pit, hammock garden, star gazing spots, BBQ and dining area, vintage cars and boats, and array of hiking and adventuring just a stones throw away. Pictures do not do Sky Fire Ranch justice, so come and see for yourself the 360 degree views of desert landscapes, off the charts sunrises and sunsets, and of course the world class star gazing nights. You would be hard pressed to find a better spot to view the Milky Way in all So Cal... We currently have 4 sites for rent including one Lotus Belle tent (campsite #4), and 2 Saharan style tents (campsites #3 and #2), as well as Betsy the RV! Convenient to the park and the most comfortable I’ve been in a tent. We stayed toasty even when the temps got down near 30! Mac was great and provided a few extra blankets that made all the difference. Wonderful watching the sunset and sunrise over the mountains!"
