This land has been in our family for 55 years. It was originally part of the Corbett Ranch. My dad built the dam for Sherwood Forest Lake in 1978. It holds around 6 million gallons of water when full. The Redwood Grove is about 25 years old and was planted by my dad. The redwoods are approaching 100 feet tall and are not monsters but are quite enjoyable. The property has many old growth Douglas Fir and old growth White and Black Oaks as well as some 300 year old Madrona trees. There is a seasonal creek and a few miles of walking trails....views of the Little Lake Valley abound.
Although a few families live around, there is much privacy to be had. The vibe is mellow. There are cooking facilities and a bathroom for all campers to enjoy.
