We have a big tent ready to go with a Queen Air mattress and two twin sleeping pads, so you can fit your whole family in this tent if you want, or bring additional tents and enjoy camping with a group.
You'll need to bring your own sleeping bags or bedding, we have only just set this campsite up, so please read the full description below.Simple private campsite on 10 acre hillside meadow, 10 minute walk into Point Arena, and 15 minute walk to the 22,000 acres of public cliffside trails.
_______THE SPACE_____
Come stay at our secluded, yet accessible, 10 acre mountain-side campsite in beautiful Point Arena. If you do you'll be among our first guests as we are just getting this area fully setup.
Here are a few things you should know about the space:
• Currently there is no running water at the site • We have a simple open-air outhouse with adequate privacy, however we do not have a shower at the location. • No wifi at the site, however cell service is generally fine for most guests. • As this is a campsite, you should bring your own equipment, bedding, and flashlights. Though we have a picnic table and fire pit, you should be prepared to actually campout here :-) • Tho you can pull up and park pretty close to the site, you won't be able to actually bring your car and RV right up close to the tent and picnic area. You'll be parked ~30-40 feet away • We recommend you arrive before dark as the site is not currently very well lit.
We will do our best to accommodate you and are here to answer any questions you may have via message.
You’ll find a picnic bench nestled under the trees looking out over peaceful sunrise views, with plenty of space to bring additional personal tents.
Centered in the campsite is a fire pit with an attached grill on a swivel.
_____GUEST ACCESS_____
When you enter the property gates you’ll find a vehicle accessible trail to the right. Slowly follow it down hill until you see the space to park a few cars on the left, nestled between three pine trees just next to the campsite.
You'll have access to a large open meadow and the high school is nearby where you can play soccer, basketball or tennis.
we are a 15 min walk, or 2 minute drive from the 22,000 acre Stornetta public lands. You can bike ride, run, or walk on the trails and enjoy the sunset or a picnic, or hunt for mushrooms, etc.
there are also several sandy beach options within about 15 minutes of the property.
