The Jackrabbit Hideaway is a tent camping site 5 minutes north of Joshua Tree and 15 minutes from the entrance to the national park. Encompassed by rolling hills, boulders and Joshua tree woodlands, the site feels like a backdrop to an old western film. Jackrabbit Hideaway is easy to locate and access, there is a picnic table, barbecue, fire pit and two sites for tents as well as a porta-potty and on site parking.
