Family and dog friendly. Shady area alongside tiny creek on our 5 acre homestead with willow trees, picnic table. Ride your bike or walk 1/2 mile to 80 acre park with swimming hole, playground, disc golf, trails, dog park and more. Short drive to the popular communities of Grass Valley and Nevada City and many recreational possibilities such as the bigger lakes in the area for fishing and boating. Our town (Penn Valley) is just a couple miles away.... a sweet, small Sierra foothill community. Wonderful store (Holiday Market - with lots of health food choices) nearby as well as laundromat, restaurants, wineries, bars, gift shops and post office. Dogs allowed but they must be penned or on leash due to our free-roaming chickens and other livestock.
