Escape to our beautiful 50 acre camping experience on Anarchist Mountain, with a breathtaking view of Osoyoos. Enjoy outdoor adventures right out the back of our property with thousands of acres of crown land including Anarchist Protected Area. We’ve set up portopotties and have an incredible outdoor heated shower that is not to be missed. It's the perfect way to disconnect and reconnect with nature. There are various camp sites to choose from. Some nestled among the giant Douglas Firs and others overlooking the most breathtaking views of the valley below.Come and witness the most breathtaking sunsets you'll ever see and if you're lucky maybe even the Northern Lights on occasion. Anarchist Mountain is the gem of Osoyoos. A bit cooler in the summer makes for a more comfortable stay than the valley below. But we’re still only 20 minutes from the lake and everything Osoyoos has to offer. The site has a flat platform for you to pitch your tent as well as a bbq, hammock, picnic table, kitchen prep area and a couple chairs for you to relax and enjoy a morning coffee. The portapotty is a short 1 minute walk away but the shower is a good ten-minute walk, so we suggest you drive, but it's well worth it! The heated outdoor shower overlooks the valley and is truly something to be experienced. There is amazing hiking and mountain biking right out the back gate with thousands of acres of crown land to explore.

Beautiful site - close to Osoyoos but also very isolated. The drive up the mountain is beautiful but also easy to access. We slept in a tent on the site and had no issues.

Anarchist Mountain Acreage

This is a super spot to stay if you like remote camping. The views were amazing but it is very remote! We pulled up to a raise deck and sink, bbq, picnic table and washing station with bear spray! Unfortunately we weren’t brave enough to stay the night as we did encountered a bear!! If you are a remote camper you will love this place.

Loved the setting

It was a beautiful, quiet setting with only the birds to be heard. The toilet & especially the shower are a bit of a walk - otherwise I loved it.

The view is immaculate, it’s very private, and the air is refreshing and significantly cooler than in the town of Osoyoos nearby. I really enjoyed chilling in the hammock that is set up for guests, and our host Kevin was very accommodating with any questions we had. Overall a really good site to stay at while checking out the south okanagan.
