Site 6 - Valley of Peace Campground
Camping with a best friend!
Fantastic camping spot! No crowds or drunken idiots to be found! Beautiful spring fed river. Caught some small fish with a fly rod, cooked over a fire every night, was greeted with a table and a friendly face. WILL BE RETURNING AGAIN!!!

Heavenly camping here!!
This property was certainly named accordingly!!! Hands down one of the most beautiful places I've ever camped! The sounds of the water and breathtaking surroundings were amazing! Walter was very attentive and helpful. I believe it takes a level of generosity to share one's personal property with strangers! Highly recommend this place! Wish I could have stayed longer. If life allows, I will be back! Thanks so much, Walter!

Site 2 - Valley of Peace Campground
Hidden Gem
What a special place. We had a blast with our toddler playing in the huge creek and making campfires each night. Short 20 minute drive to the Sam’s Throne trailhead which had spectacular views. As far as pit toilets go these were top notch. Highly recommend this spot for a relaxing family friendly get away.

Site 6 - Valley of Peace Campground
Valley of Peace - Solar Eclipse Eve
We had a group of 10 people at site 6. It was beautiful and serene on the bank of the creek. Plenty of room and nicely secluded. The pad was a nice soft sand which made for comfortable camping. Walter was very friendly and had potable water, firewood, and plenty of supplies available if you forgot anything essential. Highly recommend

My best Hipcamp adventure yet! Walter was so friendly and helpful and attentive and made sure I had everything I could possibly need to have a wonderful experience. The site was absolutely stunning and I felt very safe and taken care of the entire time. I highly HIGHLY recommend visiting Valley of Peace campground and will absolutely be back!
