Site 6 - Valley of Peace Campground
Camping with a best friend!
Fantastic camping spot! No crowds or drunken idiots to be found! Beautiful spring fed river. Caught some small fish with a fly rod, cooked over a fire every night, was greeted with a table and a friendly face. WILL BE RETURNING AGAIN!!!

Heavenly camping here!!
This property was certainly named accordingly!!! Hands down one of the most beautiful places I've ever camped! The sounds of the water and breathtaking surroundings were amazing! Walter was very attentive and helpful. I believe it takes a level of generosity to share one's personal property with strangers! Highly recommend this place! Wish I could have stayed longer. If life allows, I will be back! Thanks so much, Walter!

Eclipse camping
We enjoyed tent camping at Valley of Peace. Host Walter was very accommodating. Outhouses we’re well maintained. Nearby stream was great.

Site 2 - Valley of Peace Campground
Hidden Gem
What a special place. We had a blast with our toddler playing in the huge creek and making campfires each night. Short 20 minute drive to the Sam’s Throne trailhead which had spectacular views. As far as pit toilets go these were top notch. Highly recommend this spot for a relaxing family friendly get away.

Southern Hospitality at it's Best
Walter and his family were very helpful, welcoming, and friendly. We found the experience of watching the eclipse in their field fabulous. The camp spots were generous in size. The permanent campsites looked very level, close to the creek, and mostly shaded. We had a great time.
