We found this gem of a
property just north of the 40 and right off the 99.
The young family that we purchased it from was moving to the Ozarks and their boy didn't want to leave. It's a perfect place to play in dirt, mountain bike, lay in a hammock, hike, overland it up,
look for cool rocks and arrowheads and be creative outdoors. The breeze is nice on a warm day and crisp on a cold day.
The sky out on this land is so huge that it might remind you of some areas in Montana. The sky is
wide open and perfect for gazing at the clouds, stars, comets, and galaxies. On a nice clear day, the San Francisco Peaks are beautiful in the distance.

The name of our property ties into my upbringing as an ice hockey player, with some hockey camps and
tournaments just west on the 40
to
Flagstaff.
One of my favorite hockey players was Wayne Gretzky, known as The Great One. He wore # 99, which is the number of the highway we are near.
Hence, GreatSky CampRanch!

It's a perfect location to get out and relax and
is just eight short minutes to the quaint town of Winslow, Arizona.

@ 5000ft Enjoy the cool breeze, beautiful sunsets, stars gaze with the great sky, plus an amazing view of the San Francisco Mountain's Humphreys Peak (12637ft). 8 miles to Winslow dining, gas, hospital, and 10 miles to the Meteor Crater, 45 minutes to Flagstaff/SnowBowl for skiing or snowboarding. Mountain Bike on dirt and paved roads, search for cool stones like quartz and amethyst. Best for tent campers, boondockers, overlanders, or dry campers looking for some known land to just chill on. RVs and Travel Trailers are welcome, but the dirt road can be rough and bumpy if you take it too fast. It's raw land - feel free to roam! Enjoy the peaceful openness and long walks on red dirt roads. (In short, we are a Campground in progress, with a water fill-up station and WIFI. ) Cheers!
