Primitive camping
Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Hello, we have acreage that we are allowing travelers to stay on. We are 15 miles from Chiricahua National Monument, located along the ‘Wilcox Loop’. Along the loop is also Cochise Stronghold and many wineries! If you travel south from here, we are 45 minutes from my favorite town Bisbee. Stars galore!

Site 2 - Chiricahua starry camp
This was a perfect place to stay while we went to Chirichahua. Easy access to the road. Level site. Great star gazing. Would definitely come back again.

Site 3 - Chiricahua starry camp
I’ll be back!
Beautiful spot in the desert with distant mountains on 3 sides. Convenient to Cochise Stronghold & Chiricahua National Monument. Extremely quiet. Just 0.4 mi off pavement on well-graded dirt road. Only nearby services are gas & a convenience store 10 mi west. If your rig is over 25’, try site #1. Thank you for sharing your beautiful corner of AZ!

Site 4 - Chiricahua starry camp
The campsite was very quiet so I could hear the coyotes, and it was very dark to see the night skies. It was close to Chiricahua National Monument which was our destination. The location was very easy to find.

Chiricahua starry camp
Good experience. Booked last minute because other plans fell through. The site was easily accessible off 181 and each site is numbered. No ammenities, but without other campers there it was very private.
