Joshua Tree Forest with Open Views, Arizona

We became full-time RV'rs in 2013.  We traveled extensively in the west before deciding we'd like to find a place to become stationary.  We found a nice park in Boulder City NV, but while staying there we saw an ad in the local paper about these 5 acre lots in White Hills AZ.   We fell in love with this Joshua Tree Forest that is sparsely populated.

We are almost surrounded by Lake Mead/Colorado River.  The closest launch is about 30 minutes away (Willow Beach).  There are many mining roads to explore.  And the sunsets are unbelievable.
If none of the other spaces are rented, you will have complete solitude since less than 5 cars pass our property on average per day.
Yes, it can get quite warm on summer days, but it cools off quickly when the sun- sets.  I usually shut off the A/C after sunset and just open the windows and turn on fans.  I rarely sleep all night with the A/C running.  Winter can be cold and windy, but only snows a few days per year and melts almost immediately.
To gauge the temperatures, you can deduct 6 degrees from the Las Vegas temps during the summer and 10 degrees during the winter.
From our lot, you can see Boulder City, NV, and the lights of Las Vegas, Kingman & Laughlin at night.  You can also see Mt Charleston 80 miles away as the crow flies.  The air is fresh and clean always.  We get our water from a well that pulls from an aquifer.  

Last year, we had an opportunity to buy a house 1.5 miles from where you will be staying.  Although it may not seem like it, we are very close for any help you may need.
