A Peaceful Night
We loved being out there. It was a little harder to find than we expected, so be sure to follow Paula's instructions. We were happily surprised to find it had the nicest port-a-potty and TP on our whole trip. We had a nice fire, enjoyed the stars, and loved the silence exploring the canyon in the morning. Hit the Turquoise Room for breakfast. A great combo.

We loved the rural, open space, night sky, and cool rock formations that make this property so unique. An easy drive from Winslow, although slow going pulling a small travel trailer (14’) over the rural road. Thanks for hosting us Paula, would definitely stay again!

The Views!!!
The views are spectacular. It was extremely windy the first day/night, so enjoyed the views from my van.

If you’re looking for quiet, seclusion, and dark skies, this might be your place. Although you can see the city lights of Winslow at night, it feels a world away. Be warned: the host isn’t kidding about the roads to get there. I made it in and back in a 32ft motorhome, so they are not impassable. They are also very well marked (uncommon for dirt roads out in the desert). If I had a nit to pick, it would be that apparently some previous guest left some trash and an old tire on the property.

A must stay near Winslow
We absolutely loved Paula's campsite. She was very friendly, and the site itself is serene and an escape from the city. Cannot recommend this site enough, especially if you're near Northeastern Arizona.

Quiet and very remote don’t go in if it’s muddy, no clean toilet paper available in port-a-john
