HORSES WELCOME   Why not run your horse on the beach, then come to our campsites to relax for the rest of your day. There is a fenced pasture positioned next to the sites so you can see your faithful friend enjoying some grass or hay. We have a new Zinger 29' trailer set up with a bunk room and another bedroom, full kitchen and bathroom. It can sleep easily six people. If you have your own rv, we have full hook up at the same area. The pasture where your horse stays will also have hay, water and shelter with a run-in. This is a sanctuary for our animals. We have nine animals here, four horses (some minnies) and five donkeys (some minnies).  By staying here, you will be helping us to support our animals.  We are in Frankford, DE. We are close to all the beaches and parks.  There are many shopping adventures awaiting you, either outlets or upcycle stores. If you just want to relax, there is a small pond out back stocked with bass and turtles. We have 17+ acres but we only use the front five acres and leave the rest for the deer, foxes, eagles, hawks and whatever shows up. We believe this is Heaven on earth and would love to share it all with you. So please come, stay at our farm and relax. We are here year round

Marian and Mike went out of their way to make camping on their farm a fun and unique experience. We had full hookups, use of BBQ grills with free charcoal and lighter fluid, and free firewood for the fire rings. The gravel RV pad was level. They even set up the hookups so that my brother and I could share them on the single 48 foot RV pad, since we both have small 15 foot RVs. The donkeys and horses were friendly and entertaining. There was even a pond for fishing where I caught a number of small bass. At the pond there are benches for sitting around another fire pit that has a grate where you can cook over the fire. Marian and Mike are both interesting people and we enjoyed visiting with them. The farm is 1/2 hour or less from Delaware and Maryland beaches if you want to visit there. You can't go wrong booking here, it's a great value and a great experience!

Being at Why Not Acres was one of my best experiences. Mike and Marian were always friendly, kind, hard working Christian couple who went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. I especially loved the rescue animals. They are friendly and enjoy pets and talked to if you stand by the fence. It was so peaceful, calm and I felt at home. It was hard to leave and we plan to return some day.

Friendly donkeys and horsesRescue animals deserve a clean barn. Camping with family. Lots of room for two campers. Honey Deux loved the friendly donkeys
