This property is a stones throw away from Willapa National Wildlife Refuge. The Refuge is open to the public year round for hiking and wildlife observation. The "Worlds Longest Beach" is less than a five minute drive. The Long Beach Peninsula is one of the largest continuous beaches throughout the world and it IS the worlds longest 'drive-able' beach. Guests with pets are strongly cautioned and children under 5 are not recommended because of the close proximity to Sandridge Road @ 45 miles per hour. Please view all the pictures provided so you know what to expect. It is often windy and wet here. Dress in layers, weather patterns can be exciting here on the coastline.

Dwell Seaview is the place for you to enjoy your next vacation. There are many activities pretty much every weekend from spring through fall each year. Some larger events include Jeeps Go Topless in May, Beach to Chowder Run in June, Independence Day over 4th of July, Sandsations in July, Kite Festival in August, and the very popular Rod Run in September. Pictures of some of these events are posted in our Photos tab. There are 20 full hookup sites with a majority of them being 50/30/20-amp services, water and sewer is at each site!

Ohh Ship Beach Camp is located on Puget Island in the middle of the Columbia River. When you book a stay here, you get TWO large RV parking spots, both with 30A power and a shared water hookup. Both spots are on level ground with gravel pads and plenty of room to pull in or back in your vehicles. Tent campers are welcome; however, there are no bathroom amenities at my site, so guests must be self-contained. You'll enjoy free Wi-Fi, a large picnic table, and a large fire pit with seating. When you purchase firewood, it will be in the firewood holder when you arrive. Contact me directly for rates for large groups (more than 10 people or two vehicles). Walk, run, or ride bikes on the flat roads on the Island. Swim, fish, boat, kayak, or jet ski on the Columbia River. The boat launch and septic dump are located a few miles away at the Cathlamet Marina (there are public restrooms there). The town of Cathlamet has many local spots to eat and drink, including River Mile 38 Brewing Company, Maria's Place (Mexican), The Spar (American), Patty Cakes (Coffee), The Cottage Bread and Breakfast, and many more. Enjoy yourself while you watch the ships go by.....it's the ultimate relaxing spot on the beach!

There are many hikes available as well as North Head and Cape Disappointment Lighthouses to enjoy and Waikiki beach with weekly live music. Saturday Market in Ilwaco is May through September. Long Beach is just a 10 minute drive where visitors can check out the beach, fly kites, enjoy many eateries and shop the Friday Market and local shops! Fun towns also nearby are Astoria, OR, just a 15 minute drive south and Oysterville and Ocean Park are a quick 25 minute drive North! The Rodeo Grounds are located on Sandridge Road in Long Beach. The 2024 Long Beach Rodeo is July 27th and 28th, 2024. Limited horse stalls are available to rent during this time. But Rhett's Ranch is more than just a venue—it's a place where memories are made and cherished. Animals are not typically at the property however, at special events or extended stays (4+ nights) visitors can encounter a menagerie of animals, from mini ponies and donkeys to goats, pigs, and cows. These furry friends serve as a reminder of Rhett's love for all creatures great and small, and they provide endless joy and companionship to those who visit the ranch. Our fully fenced and secure backyard is available to friendly and non destructive dogs for an additional fee. Three minute walk to a couple of grocery stores. We're a friendly married couple with a 16 year old son. Could most likely help you out with most anything you didn't bring! Bicycles, skate boards, surfboards, just ask. We're 1/2 mile from Seaside skate park.

Pretty Beachin Camp

Our beachin camp is located on the Longbeach, Washington Peninsula. It's a dry camp, for now. It's less than a half mile to the ocean. We have four sites available. Each site has a cute cinder block firepit. Its perfect for RV's or tent sites. As you turn onto the property you will be met with a gate. To identify the correct property you will see two small brick pillars at the entrance. Please be sure the keep the gate closed when not in use. Upon entering the gate, our campsites are located along the LEFT-hand side and are distinguishable by the 4 built-in block firepits. (Please note: the campsites along the right-hand side that are nearest to the cell tower are not operated by us.) Pack out what you pack in. All trash must be removed at check out. Jack's Country Store offers garbage drop off for a small fee. There is a small park with a restroom located a couple blocks away that is usually open for public use. Things to do/Places to visit: - Surfside Golf Course - Oysterville Sea Farms -Pacific Pines State Park -Leadbetter Point State Park -Downtown Longbeach -Cape Disappointment -Jack's Country Store If you need any ideas or recommendations while visiting, don't hesitate to ask!

All sites have a picnic table Site 1,3 and 4 have fire pits. Site 1,3 have campground style BBQ New as of June, 2023 porta potty added. DO NOT put garbage or transfer any waste to porta potty. Jacks Country store in Ocean Park, WA has garbage drop off for small fee depending on size. See in photos FYI FUTURE: We will be adding new fire pits to all 4 sites.

Close to historic Astoria, OR, a short 5 minute ferry ride and 23 miles of beautiful scenery. Disclaimer_ On very rare occasions when the winds are from the southwest the sounds from the WAUNA papermill on the Oregon side of the river may be audible. Sort of a low drone noise. The locals have gotten used to it and don't take notice. The prevailing winds are usually form the west, sometimes the east (up and down the rive). The property is a flat beachfront with 200ft Columbia river frontage located on Puget Island in Cathlamet, Washington with panoramic views. 30 or 50 amp hookups. Campers can enjoy private access to beach and privacy during their stay. The island was named for Peter Puget, a lieutenant in the Vancouver Expedition of exploration, which first mapped the island in 1792. Puget Island's Robert W. Little Preserve is home to a population of endangered Columbian white-tailed deer. You can walk the beach, kayak the Columbia River, or ride bikes on miles of flat Puget Island roads. There's also hiking, swimming in the Columbia on our beach, fishing, wild life viewing that entails many bird species (hawks, eagles, white tail deer). Long Beach on the Pacific ocean is 1 hour away. During your stay, you'll even see ships cruise by very closely. The property has easily accessible no matter the size of your RV and there's plenty of room to park multiple vehicles.
