Welcome to Lil Bit O' Heaven Camping! Here you will find beautiful and unique places to camp right on the Cascade River, approximately 3 minutes outside of Marblemount, WA. We are right next to the Marblemount Boat Launch and within an easy walk into town if you want to visit the local restaurants or need camping gear. Our property has five tent campsites on the river as well as a 26' glamping dome (previously used for artic research) completely painted with a galaxy of the night sky. A converted antique hay trailer turned tiny house with an 8' ceiling loft with 3-way views of the forest and river, deck, and private "magic spot" on the Cascade River. The Lil Bit O Heaven Campground is the perfect base camp for your summer adventure! Firewood is available onsite most of the summer. Fresh, clean drinking water, permanent bathrooms and a private shower are available for all campers. An outdoor (completely private) shower is available for those who book the tiny house. Please note that you must follow any local fire bans. Please check the fire conditions PRIOR to making a campfire. Please note that there are areas where you can get directly to the side of the Cascade River, and the river is swift and dangerous! At 180 acres Glendale Farm in Chimacum, in operation since 1857, is one of the largest single agricultural properties remaining in Jefferson County. The farm includes prime agricultural soils, over half a mile of East Chimacum Creek, and forested areas. The easement protects a buffer zone for salmon and wildlife habitat along the east fork of Chimacum Creek and protects the agricultural and forestry values of the property forever. Jefferson Land Trust and collaborative partners purchased the easement to Insure Glendale farm maintains agricultural practices and wildlife habitat forever! Please be aware this is a working farm with poultry, livestock, and the use of farm equipment providing a great experience for farm life. Glendale farm experienced a devestating loss in 2022, the primary residence burned down, and since then has been going through an extensive cleanup from an extreme hoarding situation. We recommend using shoes at all times as we are still in the process of combing the grounds for glass and possible sharp objects. You can expect to see old farm equipment, some derelict Rvs, and material debris which we are raising funds to remove. Please be patient with us as we continue to improve the site with future showers, a comunal kitchen, and improved landscaping. We went of for the weekend for a port gamble conference. After some research, we came across this lovely place! We absolutely looooooved the peacocks and goats! I would definitely love to visit again! The only thing I would recommend if you stay here through late fall or winter is to pack something warm to sleep in. It didn’t get a little chilly, but other than that, it was a lovely place. ♥️

What a cool experience! The Dome was comfortable and unlike anywhere I have ever stayed before. Definitely did not get cold with the thoughtful amenities: space heaters and blankets. There is firewood available for purchase and the bathrooms are a luxury! The only thing I’d be aware of is that you may not have service upon arrival, so you may not be able to contact Zachary thru the app. There is a code to get into the dome that I didn’t have directly, but luckily we were able to figure it out. Overall, I definitely recommend staying in the galaxy dome!

This arctic dome was such a cool find while hiking in the North Cascades! It had snowed on us on a few hikes so we were glad for some warmth. Both the dome and the restrooms were clean and nice. The bed was comfortable. I did have to bring all of my blankets in because I couldn’t figure out the second heater (skill issue)! There are nice campsites down the trail overlooking the river and they’re really cute for groups! I love how close this was to town for snacks, too.

This is such a cool, unique place to stay! The dome is spacious but cozy, and feels like being inside a planetarium. The property is right on the river, and the dome has a cute wood burning heater and an AC unit, so you'll definitely be comfortable. This is a great base for exploring the North Cascades, and I highly recommend it!

Laughing Leaf Cottage was a 20/10! The hosts are incredibly welcoming and communicative in their messages but also very respectful of your personal privacy! The cottage itself was a beautifully decorated and curated space…felt very cozy and serene. The outside of the cottage was very private and though you couldn’t see the main house you could still see all the gorgeous gardens and the goats/peacocks. The outside area also had a cute and shaded picnic table along with a beautiful secluded small deck with a fire pit and chairs all overlooking the green ferns and forest. The area was quiet and peaceful and I will 100 percent be back. Had a wonderful time.

we had such a nice stay here!! beautiful quiet property, comfy cozy cottage, and the sweetest hosts. we would absolutely stay again and recommend to anyone who is looking for a lowkey way to spend a few nights away from the noise, and still be near all the fun port cities. even our dog had the best time, meeting all the animals and relaxing in the grass. very peaceful :)

We had an amazing stay at Shaums' place as part of a mountain bike weekend in Bellingham! The A frame was such a fun way to upgrade our usual camping experience. It's basically like a wooden tent with a porch and hammock -- so cool! We brought an air mattress and made dinner over the campfire with things we found at the farmers market that morning. Shaums was an amazing host, communicative, incredibly hospitable, and even suggested the best sunset watching spot 🤩 would definitely stay here again!
