Only a ten min private walk to the ocean through the dunes to enjoy beautiful sandy beaches, kite flying, picnics on the beach, day camping, amazing sunsets and so much more. Rubber boots (maybe some waders, depending on the winter) are recommended for the hike to the beach during the winter months (November-May) as you will have a small trek through seasonal wet lands. You may also access the beach/ocean by vehicle just a few minutes away in town. You will be located between the Quinault Casino and the City of Ocean Shores where you can enjoy all the wonderful activities there is to offer. If kayaking, canoeing or paddle boarding is what you are seeking, many are unaware of the 23 miles of scenic canals in the City of Ocean Shores. You may also fish for bass, rainbow trout, yellow perch and bluegill sunfish in these waterways. I hear there are a couple little Islands to explore as well. What a hidden treasure! There are three launch sites available we can give if needed. And if you left something at home, sitting there thinking he was going to grab it (haha) no worries, you more than likely can grab it in town. The Ace hardware is amazing! There is an Arcade, golf, miniature golf, go carts, water go carts, bowling, horseback rentals (seasonal) for the beach, electric bike rentals, scooter rentals and so many more activities for you to enjoy. A wonderful place where memories are made.

Our beachin camp is located on the Longbeach, Washington Peninsula. It's a dry camp, for now. It's less than a half mile to the ocean. We have four sites available. Each site has a cute cinder block firepit. Its perfect for RV's or tent sites. As you turn onto the property you will be met with a gate. To identify the correct property you will see two small brick pillars at the entrance. Please be sure the keep the gate closed when not in use. Upon entering the gate, our campsites are located along the LEFT-hand side and are distinguishable by the 4 built-in block firepits. (Please note: the campsites along the right-hand side that are nearest to the cell tower are not operated by us.) Pack out what you pack in. All trash must be removed at check out. Jack's Country Store offers garbage drop off for a small fee. There is a small park with a restroom located a couple blocks away that is usually open for public use. Campfire Tale: The Legend of John Tornow "The Wildman of the Wynooche." More than a century ago, the forests around Travers Mountain were home to one of Washington’s most mysterious figures — John Tornow, the Wildman of the Wynooche. Born in 1880, Tornow grew up as a gifted woodsman and hunter. He was known for his uncanny ability to move silently through the timber, living off the land with the skill of someone more animal than man. But his story turned dark after the tragic deaths of his nephews, the Bauer twins, whose family homestead you can still see from our property. Accused of their killings, Tornow fled deep into the wilderness. For nearly two years, he evaded every search party and posse that hunted him. Locals whispered that he was impossible to track — some even swore he could vanish into the trees like a ghost. He became both feared and respected, remembered as part outlaw, part legend. The tale ends in 1913, when a massive manhunt cornered Tornow in the woods. Even then, he fought fiercely, leaving his mark on Grays Harbor history forever. So when you camp here whether its under the trees-at Tornow’s Timberline, perched high at Outlaw’s Overlook, or gathered by the fire at Wildman’s Saloon Stop — listen closely to the night sounds. The owls, the wind, and the rustling branches might just remind you of the Wildman, still wandering in spirit through these hills.

This is a beautiful, quiet, and comfortable campsite! We were especially impressed by the shared kitchen - as it was quite cold while we were there! The kitchen is lovely, with a wood cookstove. We loved staying with Paul and Carol, who are very interesting and friendly.

Weekend Trip to Pretty Beachin Camp

Great camp site. Had dear come through camp a few times and the site is nice and flat. The goat beards are all over though so be prepared for those little pokies. It’s nice being tucked back from the road. We hade two spots in our group for a family clam dig camp trip and it was great.

The campground was in a beautiful corner of the earth and owned by a kind, friendly couple. The campsite felt private and had it all; a bench, water, a fire pit and a tent platform. We enjoyed cooking in the communal kitchen with a wood stove. I highly recommend!

The camp site area was very clean and well kept; "A very quiet camp area". The drive to Lake Cushman was a breeze and there was a near by connivence store, for any supplies that you may need.

What a beautiful property! We brought our trailer and our friends brought their tent and had plenty of room. The walk down to the beach was nice and not too long. The tavern and grocery store were convenient and close. We will definitely be back

We enjoyed our stay at Elisa's camp. It rained which didn't affect us. We parked under the covered roof. Keeping us dry while visiting with family. We would definitely like to stay there again along with family. Thank you Elisa.

A beautiful private spot with room for the pups to roam free. Nice to have the porta potty, table, chairs and fire ring. The ten minute trail to the beach is well maintained. The beach is beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back.

2 nights at Skokomish Park At Lake Cushman

Skokomish Park on Lake Cushman was the most beautiful campsite we’ve ever visited. Extremely spacious/private forested sites including 30 full hook-up sites with paved and level pull-in drives. Very clean and extremely well maintained. Great walking and easy access to gorgeous Lake Cushman. There’s even an outdoor movie theater for a fun weekend night with friends and family.

Nice campsite with a decent amount of space. We had a lot of pretty nasty burrs in the grass, so I'd recommend a bit of a thicker layer between yourself and the ground. We put towels between our tent and tarp, which seemed to do the trick

Great Privacy and this is close to the Casino. We were kindly left some propane for the fire ring but instead we had the best lighting and thunder! Dog friendly/Quiet neighborhood
