Originally the fields were used to grow peas (1940's), dairy (1950-1960's), black angus (1970-1980's), hogs & dairy replacement heifers (1990's), fresh culinary herbs for the grocery stores (last 20 years). Every year the location you are camping on floods and holds at least 3 feet of water, hence we only offer seasonal camping. The property has held events from town picnics in the 1930's, hoedowns in the 70's and a traveling circus in the 1980's. It is perfectly located 1 minute to Duvall and 25 minutes to Redmond. Learn more about this land: This 4th generation grass valley floor at sea level includes views of Mt. Baker & Rainer. Surrounded by retired culinary herb fields and planted cow corn to the west. Summer includes herds of heifers ranging the north. Your spot is minutes to amenities in "Old" town Duvall and swimming holes on the Snoqualmie River.  There are many culvert crossings between #4 & #5 for a fun walk around and a tall grass path near #1 & #2 to get lost in.

We are a 20 acre tree farm in the making on beautiful Whidbey Island. The property is rough graded with lots of areas to explore. Close to town for supplies but quiet, and crazy stars at night. We have cleared two of the cedar groves on the south side, and they are perfect campsites. The sites are 75'-100' apart, more private than a state park, but close enough that a bigger group would feel close. Portable Toilet is on site 100' from the Big Cedar site. May through October Cedar Hallow- Our original campsite, sports a hammock, a picnic table, a fire pit, a good area for 2 tents, probably 6 people. The site has huge cedar trees all around so it's filtered sunlight most of the day, & warm in the summer! Big Cedar- Our bigger site. Equipped with a fire pit, a picnic table, hammock, and space for 3-4 tents, probably 12 people comfortably. There is a dirt road that circles the property, it's great for walks and animal viewing but can get muddy in the rain so be prepared. Parking is a gravel lot directly across the little dirt road from the sites. Unload at the site then move to parking as to not block the road. Trucks with campers can pull tight to a site but don't pull into a site please, obey standard fallen tree limb boundaries. I keep a large water tote on-site with hose water for washing dishes or boiling.

We had a lovely Fall stay this weekend in our little camper. We loved the sounds of the coyote calls through the night. They were quite talkative but it was fun to hear the wildlife around us! My dog really enjoyed having the freedom and space to run and play. The quaint town of Duvall is super close so we enjoyed a beautiful brunch before packing up for home.

Tim’s property is a great place to camp on Whidbey! It’s a quick drive into the town of Freeland. This would be a wonderful place to camp with a big group, reserving multiple sites next to each other. We’ve camped there twice, just two people. It’s easy-peasy to reserve and to get there. Some of the sites have wonderful hammocks and fire pits. Definitely recommend!

Great little spot on a farm. A little road noise, but a really pretty spot. They have a picnic table, a fire ring, hammocks, and chairs. There is a very clean port a potty as well. Our spot easily held 2 tents and could have fit another small one. Their is a bigger site next door, but we didn't really have noise issues between the sites. Also, nice to be able to have the dogs off the leashes so they could play. Bonus: close to the farmer's market, a grocery, and beaches. Really enjoyed our stay.

Jenel and Khohay were very nice. The farm looks amazing! The communal area is super cute and cozy and the camp spot on the field with the animals was even and soft. I love the concept of self-sustainability that they follow. They had free farm fresh eggs and produce and were reachable at any minute while we were there. Very supportive and friendly communication. Jerretts land was amazing! He was a great host & made sure to orient us to the campsite. There was a fire pit, wood fired hot tub, a few trails, and good space to spread out. We were told there were three other groups but we never really encountered them. It was perfect for our group of four and pup.

We arrived a bit before check-in time and Jerrett was already at the campsite to greet us. He gave us a solid tour of our site, the nearby creek, and the multiple hiking trails just a short walk from our campsite. Lots of forest cover so the heat doesn’t get to you, but beware of bugs due to the proximity to the water. Short drive to a beach and town as well.

Super private, we were the only ones that booked that night so we had the whole place to ourselves! Peacefully tucked away away from traffic, people and chaos. It is recommended you check the flight schedule for dates and times the jets will be flying. Depending on the direction they happen to be flying that night, it can get quite loud. In those instances, ear protection is recommended. About a third of summer weekdays the OLF is used. The jets do not fly on weekends and holidays. Having said all of this, most campers enjoy the airshow, as it is a unique opportunity. The camp site is approximately 6 acres located in a quiet secluded forest area near highway 525. A fire pit is provided on non-burn ban days. A flat grassy area is big enough to enjoy your recreation activity of choice. Bring your binoculars and check out all the different kinds of birds. Nearby wetlands provide lots of food for birds, bats, and dragonflies. Other wildlife you may see are deer, bunnies, owls, quail, butterflies, garter snakes, and raccoons. Lots of native flora can be identified with your plant identification app or book. The beach is about a mile away where you can hunt for sea glass and enjoy the waves or build yourself a shelter out of driftwood. Welcome to The Landing at Index - located on the South Fork Skykomish River, in the western foothills of the Cascade Mountains, off of Highway 2. With 16 acres of beautiful, private woods and breathtaking views of Mt. Index, this is a wonderful getaway to kick back and relax after your day of adventures, or just to escape the city rush. This is a gated property, protected with a code, which you will be sent 24 hours before your arrival. The campsites are at the bottom of a long logging road so an SUV or AWD vehicle are preferable , especially during the wetter seasons. When the property was logged approximately 100 years ago they scooped out gravel from the river to make their roads in the area thus creating the back eddy pool along the beach. A rather peaceful setting, including the rushing sound of the river and the occasional whistle of a train. You will feel refreshed and rejuvenated after you stay at The Landing. Pets are welcome, there are private outhouses at each campsite. These outhouses are protected with a code, which is sent to you 24 hours before your arrival.
