This information is based on stories from some old timers my husband had spoken to in the past when he bought this property in 2002. The owner back in the old days sold off parcels and parcels of lands back then. The property is all fenced in, a place where your fur buddy can run free so you don't have to worry of the baby getting lost! Hopefully you'll get a visit from a deer and hear the hooting of the owl. :) You are welcome to check out our goats too if you want (they're in their enclosed space). The surroundings are peaceful and private, you will enjoy exploring the trails all around the 9 acres out of 12 we are sharing. Stroll down the hill to listen to the sounds of the creek and fish ladder. Our campground cabins are about 4.9 miles from the 'Granite Falls Fish Ladder'. Visit this beauty at Mountain Loop Highway if you fancy a little hike. Drive around 7 miles to the 'Lime Kiln Trailhead. The trail is full of amazing views and history. Our place is only about 45 minutes from Seattle. Why not pack your tent and sleeping bags then drive here after work, then leave in the morning. Leave your worries behind.. enjoy nature.

I booked the entire site for my birthday and had a great time! The new covered area over the kitchen is excellent, and was especially nice during rainy weather. Multiple tents to choose from, a nice big fire pit, and multiple toilets for easy access. Timber and Bethany were super accommodating and helpful, will definitely be back out here again!

We enjoyed our stay at the rustic A-Frame cabin with gorgeous views. It was a great place to kick back and relax and yet be close to a plethora of recreational opportunities. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen with quality kitchenware. We enjoyed, with the use of the provided spotting scope, watching the groups of Bald Eagles feeding on the mud flats at low tide. We ESPECIALLY appreciated that our dog was welcome.

I had a great time glamping on this beautiful property! I stayed in cabin 1 this time and I will note it is a bit closer to road noise and the farm animal noises. (Which I loved but some may not) If you want it as quiet as possible choose one of the cabins further towards the back of the property. I enjoyed the openness of this cabin spot though. This stay was the best day my little dog has had all year being able to run and play freely and safely in the fenced property for hours on end!!!! We cant wait to return hopefully soon.

This is my favorite Hipcamp ! It was my second time to stay here, And the experience was like the first time. Grace is the kindest, most helpful host. She will show you the site, explain everything, and then give you privacy. I went with my friend and our 2 dogs. The area is totally fenced, lots of trails, a nice stream for the pups to cool off in. The cabin is so clean! ( The whole property is so clean!!!) There are battery powered lights in the cabin and outhouses for when it's dark. The cabin is so cozy, and it was so quiet. We had the best sleep !! And our dogs did, too, after the hikes. Im already hoping I can stay there again soon!

Weekend Trip to Dreamy Dosewallips Getaway
The Catalina camper was perfect for our glamping trip. The location is quiet and tucked away, which felt so private and relaxing, but was easy to find with instructions. The camper has a great outdoor space with plenty of seating and a table to eat. There is a table top grill with propane, it was nice to cook outside! The hot tub outside of the camper was the highlight of our trip. After a long day hiking and trekking the national park, head back to the camper to freshen up and take a dip in the hot tub. It was a relaxing way to end our day. Inside is so spacious! There is a bunk bed as you first walk in, a bathroom with toilet and shower, an entire dining seating area, full kitchen, and living area with a love seat couch. The electric fireplace was a cozy addition. The private master bedroom has a queen size bed with storage galore. We had everything we needed and more. It’s close to the national park and other recreational areas. I’d recommend bringing food and drinks from a grocery store and stock up the fridge (it’s just about full size!), plus there aren’t many restaurants nearby anyway. We enjoyed our stay and Emily’s communication was great, we felt comfortable and can’t wait to visit the area again.

We had a great time here. Timber’s property were extremely well taken care of and you can tell they’ve put a lot of effort into keeping it a magical location. The hot shower was extremely appreciated and the community kitchen area came in handy when I came to making some backcountry meals. Overall it was a good experience!

A separate room with fridge and microwave, ALL Cleaned after each person just because we are really careful hosts.  Campsite faces a Christmas Tree Farm and cows in a field.  Traffic noise possible as Veazie Cumberland is a main two lane road 250 feet from camp site. Two State parks within four miles. Four miles to the town of Enumclaw.  We have a 3 or 6 person tent for rent, a queen air mattress, sleeping bags if needed as well all at reasonable rental prices. Incredible location! This sweet cabin is nestled at the base of Mt. Jupiter, directly between Dosewallips beach and the Olympic national Park. There's lots of gorgeous, mossy maples, shaggy cedars, and elk herds roaming free. The Cabin is easily accessible from the road, and has parking available. There's a secluded fire pit behind the cabin with a seasonal stream running by. Its a relaxing place to hang out for a few days, and/or excellent basecamp to explore the amazing forests, mountains, and beaches nearby. Also, there's lots of great foraging to be done (nettles, mushrooms, and oysters; oh my!) GPS LOCATION: When driving to the cabin, your GPS will tell you that 'your destination is on the left'. This is a lie. The cabin will be on the right. There is a metal gate that is closed with a chain but not locked. CABIN LAYOUT AND SLEEPING AMENITIES: The Cabin is just a little guy; only 16'x20'. There is a kitchen, living room, and dining room area, and the bathroom is a separate room - we call it our 'studio cabin'. We have a fold out couch for which we provide linens, pillows, and a comforter. There is also an inflatable mattress that is a tight squeeze, but can allow for four people to sleep (with a little furniture rearranging). There is a deck that is large enough for a two person tent that would also make a four person camp-out comfortable. All linens and towels are stored in the trunk and the bathroom cabinet. There is a 4' round dining room table with four chairs and a small table on the porch with two more chairs. All the cushions for the chairs are in a cabinet under the table inside. ACCESSIBILITY: Unfortunately, the cabin is not wheelchair accessible. There are 5 stairs up to the deck and the bathroom door is only 27" wide. SURROUNDING AREA: There are small trails leading away from the cabin; do not walk down them! They lead to neighboring properties and I cannot guarantee that there won't be neighbors who would be very surprised by a stranger showing up on their land! There are lots of public trails only a few minutes drive in either direction from the property :) STOLEN LAND: This property is on stolen, indigenous land.
