The Chuckanut Rock

Watch the sunset into the world famous San Juan Islands. Our property is

located on the scenic Chuckanut Drive. It is a 15 minute walk to Taylor United's Seafood Bar that has beer and wine. You will need boots just below the knee, or hiking shoes that will get wet. The Creek crossing is a little deeper this year. You will also be crossing a muddy area for about 20 yards, you will sink about 3 inches into the mud. The hike into the campsite takes 12 minutes. You need to contact me to check the tides, as to be able to get to the campsite. We need to hike in below a 5 foot tide. Starting October, the campsite closes for winter. Again , this campsite is Tide dependent. The first question to me should be, What is the latest we can hike in? I am not Moses, I can’t part the sea.

The LTC "little tiny cabin"

This cozy cabin has a full kitchen, full bath, wifi and sleeps 4 comfortably. Tucked away in the woods just east of Dislodge the LTC sits on 2.2 acres. Enjoy your stay at this beautiful cabin in the North Cascades, with moss layered trails along Cornell creek,  right out your front door.
Having more people join or a family reunion? You can also book "The Nook"  it is on the same property as The LTC and sleeps 3/4 people. "Dislodge." It is right next door and sleeps 8 people. Both available to book through Hipcamp. Great news! We have new, fast internet, a 5G network thanks to T-Mobile.

Oostema Farmstead Campground

Hi we’re Glen and Lisa Oostema – the proud owners of Oostema Farmstead, a working farm located a short drive from Lynden, WA.

You will roam the 117 acres. We have raspberries and field crops that surround the Farmstead.

 You will also find our herd of cattle as we raise Grass-Fed Wagyu here on the Farmstead.

We have loved sharing our home, and the Farmstead with many guests, turned friends, from all around the world! It is indeed our priority to provide a comfortable, beautiful, and peaceful space for you. But most importantly, we hope you will find rest and relaxation close to nature with a glimpse into a slow living pace, and we hope to share that experience with you through your stay.

1 pet per RV (no dogs in tents) and must adhere to our rules, ask us for more information.

Happy Little Farm

Twelve years ago, Shelley and Casey moved back to the beautiful Skagit Valley farm Shelley grew up on.   Her family has farmed in the valley for five generations.  Casey had studied permaculture in the San Juan Islands and they immediately began planting edible and useful plants throughout the property.  They started a small Community Supported Agriculture program growing vegetables and fruit for several families.  The property has evolved over time to include several living willow structures and a wonderful collection of unusual fruits creating what they hope is the feeling of a Wonderland.

New Van Camping Site in 2023:  We have a new gravel pad van site next to an 18 acre farm field with a wonderful sunset view.   We do not allow fires at the site.  But you would be welcome to have a campfire in our firepit a short walk from your van site.  Please note, we are not currently offering firewood.  But it is available at the Shell station less than 5 minutes from our farm.

Tent Site:  Pitch your tent in a private corner of our little organic farm in the beautiful Skagit Valley.  You will be surrounded by gorgeous edible landscaping and a stunning view of Mount Baker.  Take a stroll through our gardens, graze on some fruit in season.  A 10 minute walk or quick bike ride to the Skagit River offering great swimming in the warmer months.

Our farm is surrounded by many flat scenic farm roads very popular for cyclists and photographers.  There are two restaurants and several antique shops less than a mile away in the cute little town of Conway.  The Conway Muse is a funky music venue and restaurant hosting great live music on weekends throughout the year.

Feel free to pick organic fruits, vegetables and nuts to enjoy at your campsite or take home by donation.

Heavenly farm

This lovely piece of heaven is a 6 acre permaculture, off grid farm with a view out towards the other San Juan islands! 

I am working at turning it into a permaculture farm!  I thought sharing it with others is a great way to bring good energy to it! The island has amazing trails and a few beaches and a mountain to climb! Stunning views! Also people who have horses and camp with them could come to the farm also! I have horse facility all set up with my two horses already here-)! Look forward to meeting you!

Bob and Rose's Pumpkin Patch

When we purchased

this property it was covered with black berry bushes, we did not even know what might be underneath when we started to clear it. 
At first we just wanted a garden but the deer ate the blueberries so we planted pumpkins. 
They were a success, in fact one year we gave a pumpkin to each Beach School kindergartner. 
Later on we decided to set it up as with RV hook ups for our friends and that is how we got to where we are now. 
We love to share Lummi Island, it is a special place.

Park your camping trailer or RV, water, electricity, both 110 and 30 amp service, sewer (septic hook up)
are ready for you. 
Once you're set up, start exploring. The beach, blizzard trail, ride your bike, bring your kayak or just sit back and take in views all the way to Canada.

Lummi Island does have a grocery store, near the ferry landing, but, best to stock your

meals from home as the store has limited supplies. 
There is only one restaurant on Lummi Island the Beach Store Cafe, moderate prices but only open Thursday thru Sunday.

The best part of Lummi Island is the tranquility, kick back and enjoy fresh air, beach walks,
outstanding sunsets and quiet nights. 
Pets OK, please pick up after pet and have a leash.
