If you are coming into Richmond for a Brown's Island event we are a five minute Uber to an access point using the Potterfield walking bridge (it's a beautiful walk across the James River to the island). Each campsite includes 3 level spots to pitch tents (see dimensions below), and a connected space to park one car, van or small trailer. The large parking space can be used as a fourth tent footprint if needed. There are additional parking spaces. Each site has a fire pit (with firewood on site), a grate to grill over the fire, a picnic table, and a hammock. There is a shared outbuilding with a composting toilet, hand washing sink, outdoor shower (solar warmed), and space to change privately.  Campsite W ~  Tent footprints: 1) 10' x 12' 2) 10' x 13' 3) 9' x 10' Campsite E ~ Tent footprints: 1) 15'x16' 2) 10' x 15' 3) 9' x 10' **Pricing is based on groups of up to four adults or two adults with children. For groups of five to seven adults there is an additional charge of $10 person per day. For groups of eight or more we suggest you reserve both sites and have the entire camp to yourselves. Campsites W and E are about 80' apart. Both are around 100' to the creek. The spots can accommodate a total length (towing vehicle plus trailer) of up to 35 ft. There is an outdoor spigot with potable water and hoses for clean up. The woodlands and creek adjacent to the campsites have trails that are accessible to the public. You and your furry friends are welcome to use these paths, but know that others may be using them too. Richmond has so much to offer and we are just a hop, skip, and a jump to many wonderful attractions - kayak or sunbathe on the James River, walk or bike on trails around the city, rock climb, dine, imbibe. PLEASE NOTE* These sites are on a private property with a house that is visible to campers, but we give our guests complete privacy and don't plan to interact unless you need something from us. While you are on a 2 acre property backed up to a 20 acre wooded area, we are still in the middle of the city and you will hear city sounds. This is a safe space. At days end you can go to concerts or “clubbing” in town or return to Billyville and enjoy the quiet, peaceful ambiance of a campfire under a starlit sky. Check-Ins and Arrival Instructions: Check-ins on weekdays are dependent on my work schedule. If this is your first time at Billyville, I need to be on property to guide you into your site. Please reach out before your stay so we can coordinate. If I am off on that day, check-in is after 1pm. If I am working, it will be after 5pm and occasionally after 7. I am currently testing out some procedures to allow self check-in. We'll see how that pans out. Anyway, to get to Billyville: Turn onto Bells Lane. (Dirt Road). You'll see a white fence on your left down the lane about .2 miles. Just after the fence, you'll see a red sign at the beginning of a rope fence. Turn off Bells Lane just after the sign and follow the fence, keeping it on you left. Within one hour’s ride is a wealth of things to do, experience and see; within reach are the Shenandoah mountains, the University of Virginia and Charlottesville and Lake Anna . There is something for everyone from children to seniors, from outdoor adventurers, to history buffs, arts and entertainment seekers, bargain shoppers and local gourmet food and drink lovers. At days end you can go to concerts or “clubbing” in town or return to Billyville and enjoy the quiet, peaceful ambiance of a campfire under a starlit sky. Check-Ins and Arrival Instructions: Check-ins on weekdays are dependent on my work schedule. If this is your first time at Billyville, I need to be on property to guide you into your site. Please reach out before your stay so we can coordinate. If I am off on that day, check-in is after 1pm. If I am working, it will be after 5pm and occasionally after 7. I am currently testing out some procedures to allow self check-in. We'll see how that pans out. Anyway, to get to Billyville: Turn onto Bells Lane. (Dirt Road). You'll see a white fence on your left down the lane about .2 miles. Just after the fence, you'll see a red sign at the beginning of a rope fence. Turn off Bells Lane just after the sign and follow the fence, keeping it on you left. This is a gem of a spot! You feel like you're in the woods AND you're so close to all the Richmond action. The composting toilet and bathroom were very comfortable. The creek is gorgeous. Had everything we needed! Will definitely stay again.

Great place for fishing, caught a monster 22 inch bass along with a bunch of little catfish. Loved the kayaking and loved the campsite. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for some secluded fishing.

We enjoyed our stay on this property! The archers den campsite felt very private and had plenty of space. We loved the big fire pit with cooking grate.. The three campsites are far enough away from the winery/brewery that you don’t feel like you are camping at public business. Even though they had live music playing and seemed pretty busy we could barely hear anything going on. On the other hand if you wanted to enjoy the festivities it’s just a short walk from the campsites.

This campsite was great and the winery/ brewery on site was so much fun. Our puppy loved the dog park as well as walking around the campsite. The picnic table and fire pit were high quality and thus was the perfect back drop to the Fall season. Will definitely be coming back. Sheridan was wonderful and very quick to respond even when I mistakenly went to the wrong location, she redirected us with ease!

Wonderful campsite! Peaceful and nature-ific; such a delight right in the city. Loved the included wood on site and hammock. Absolutely recommend and would come back. Note that the city noises at night (which host is transparent about) are real; there are trains with blaring horns every night several times, so just bring your ear plugs. There are also coyotes, abundant birdsong and the babbling creek to listen to :)

Beautiful trails and streams to say the least. While yes, you definitely know your in the city. The host do a great job with the site. Restroom is clean and fire wood+ supply’s were all readily available to use. The hiking trails are right there to explore and good for beginners and intermediate hikers.

This is a wonderful location tucked away in the city. A hidden gem. Everything is provided for you to include a bathroom and showers and a lot of firewood. Campsite E was very big and had many places to pitch a tent. We chose to car camp, but was still very close to the campsite itself. It has a play ground for children and a privacy fence to block you from the other campsite. The hammock is a nice touch, plenty of tables and chairs. Watching the sunrise over the creek in the morning was amazing.

Our group loved staying at Archer’s Den at Southern Revere Cellars. We really enjoyed the fact that our spot was hidden away from guests at the tasting barn, but if we wanted to the barn was an easy walk away to try the wine and beer. The fire pit they provide is a really nice touch and communication with the host was easy and timely. The only recommendation we have is to bring in bigger signage for each campsite. We totally missed the small sign/arrow for our campsite so we had to ask the host for the location. Overall great time and we will be back!

Had a great time camping at Southern Revere! The site is relatively private and you are tucked away from other campers. You can hear events at the winery, but it's not too loud and they aren't open super late. Host is very kind and responsive. Portapotties are a short walk away, and it was great to be able to visit the tap room and wander back to camp after. Will come again!

Loved the private camp site. You won't get that type of privacy at a typical campground. The grounds are very nicely maintained with many walking trails. The ground at the harvest hill site was very level and perfect for our pop-up. Nearby spot-o-pot was handy. Also great to be able to walk to brew/wine/food/music at the tasting room. Enjoyed both the beer and wine. Highly recommend.
