While visiting Greenbrier you can find a picnic area near the river and an outdoor pavilion with a large grill for your special events located there . Several trail heads are located there in the Greenbrier community including Brushy Mountain trail Old settlers trail (several old settlements can easily be found here) Porters Gap trail. There are too many local attractions to list within 15 to 25 minute drive , from horseback riding . tubing, rafting , smoky mountain gravity park to shopping outlet malls .  READ !! Nearly 3 miles of hiking trails to enjoy during your visit. Take a spur trail off the main trail loop and there is a prayer shelter with a fire pit inspired by Luke 6:12 in the back corner of the property. Located at the edge of the prarie on the main trail is a sunrise/sunset/bird-watching platform that is 20 feet in the air with a 2 stage bridge to access it. We updated the outdoor kitchen with a 3 burner propane stove, propane grill and hot running water with a 3 bay sink. Other cooking options include a tripod over the fire and a charcoal grill. A short 10-minute drive to fire tower rd. brings you to a 2 mile loop trail with 2 waterfalls, Upper and Lower Piney Falls. Ozone falls is just a 20 minute drive. Then toward Spring City is Stinging Fork Falls at 25 minutes. Black mountain is my new favorite place especially the south overlook! The Hiking possibilities are nearly endless and close. I'll highlight one thru hike here since both trailheads are only 20 minutes away and is easy to coordinate with only 2 vehicles. It's a 10.2 mile hike that can be done in either direction and has a little something for everyone including a cave, boulder field, cascade and waterfall. Then you have massive Watts Bar Lake which is only 20 minutes away with a plethora of activities including the excursions we offer! We look forward to hosting you!

Take a spur trail off the main trail loop and there is a prayer shelter with a fire pit inspired by Luke 6:12 in the back corner of the property. Located at the edge of the prarie on the main trail is a sunrise/sunset/bird-watching platform that is 20 feet in the air with a 2 stage bridge to access it. We updated the outdoor kitchen with a 3 burner propane stove, propane grill and hot running water with a 3 bay sink. Other cooking options include a tripod over the fire and a charcoal grill. A short 10-minute drive to fire tower rd. brings you to a 2 mile loop trail with 2 waterfalls, Upper and Lower Piney Falls. Ozone falls is just a 20 minute drive. Then toward Spring City is Stinging Fork Falls at 25 minutes. Black mountain is my new favorite place especially the south overlook! The Hiking possibilities are nearly endless and close. I'll highlight one thru hike here since both trailheads are only 20 minutes away and is easy to coordinate with only 2 vehicles. It's a 10.2 mile hike that can be done in either direction and has a little something for everyone including a cave, boulder field, cascade and waterfall. Then you have massive Watts Bar Lake which is only 20 minutes away with a plethora of activities including the excursions we offer! We look forward to hosting you!

A nice quiet spot. We pulled in forward to have a view of the woods. It’s a long gravel driveway that did require a bit of leveling front to back. There is a relatively flat spot, big enough to unhook a tow car right before you get to the river before the site. Would highly suggest filling your freshwater tank rather than hooking up directly as the pressure is so great even with a water regulator, it still caused our toilet to leak and overflow during the night. Enjoyed a hike to the little Egypt waterfall aka triple falls in town.

My husband and I traveled from Florida to the Smokey Mountain Lakeside Resort to celebrate our anniversary and enjoy the great outdoors with some tent camping — and we absolutely loved it! We had a site with electric and water, which came in super handy. The weather was perfect, and the entire campground was beautiful and so well-kept. I was especially impressed by how clean the bathrooms were! The gentleman who guided us to our site was so kind and helpful — he even gave us some extra firewood, which we really appreciated. The campers next to us were friendly too, which made the whole experience even better. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. We’re already planning another trip for next year and will definitely be coming back!

Harmony Hollow was a cute and comfortable weekend getaway. The campground is close to the parkway but set back so it feels like you're in a remote area. You can hear the traffic noise, but the road isn't really visible from the campsites. Harmony Hollow campground is essentially a big field with 3-4 campsites around the outside and a big open space in the middle. You will definitely see your neighbors unless you hike out to set up a primitive site on the property, but if you do then you will likely be visited by the horses. The bathhouse with toilet, shower and sink was a nice amenity. There was no toilet paper supplied but thankfully we brought our own. The shower is not well lit so bring a lantern if you want to shower after dark. The firewood shed was not stocked, but it is the end of the season so perhaps not much demand.

The clear walls and ceiling make for a forest emersed one of a kind experience. It is like sleeping on the porch when you were young. Comfy for the whole family.

We really only slept here! But it was very pretty and quiet despite proximity to the road. It was super accessible from Gatlinburg/PF. The toilet/shower was great! We did worry we were bothering the people in the little cabin each time we started the pump. We noticed upon our arrival the firewood area wasn’t stocked, but some time over that first night wood appeared. The two little solar-powered lights in our site did not work, and none of the tiki torches would light. Something splashed around in the creek a couple times, but no crazy wildlife encounters.

Kaleigh’s property was a big hit with our crew. My 8 year old girl said it was the best campsite she’s been to. Loved how quiet it was with hardly anybody around. The lake we had all to ourselves and was great for fishing and swimming. The kids definitely had fun with the trampoline and zip line. We had to rig something up for the zip line so the kids didn’t smack in to the tree, otherwise it was good fun!

Had a wonderful weekend at Kaiabunga Kamp Site 1! Upon arrival someone had left black eyed Susan’s in a glass bottle on the camp table which brightened my day immediately being my favorite flowers!! Our young boys really enjoyed the amenities! Really great setup! Directions were super clear especially with losing cell service! Had a few drive in visitors with the cabin for sale right next to the site which surprised us being at the end of the road and it was so close. Lake was accessible. Kaleigh was super helpful and responsive too!!
