Nearly 3 miles of hiking trails to enjoy during your visit. Take a spur trail off the main trail loop and there is a prayer shelter with a fire pit inspired by Luke 6:12 in the back corner of the property. Located at the edge of the prarie on the main trail is a sunrise/sunset/bird-watching platform that is 20 feet in the air with a 2 stage bridge to access it. We updated the outdoor kitchen with a 3 burner propane stove, propane grill and hot running water with a 3 bay sink. Other cooking options include a tripod over the fire and a charcoal grill. A short 10-minute drive to fire tower rd. brings you to a 2 mile loop trail with 2 waterfalls, Upper and Lower Piney Falls. Ozone falls is just a 20 minute drive. Then toward Spring City is Stinging Fork Falls at 25 minutes. Black mountain is my new favorite place especially the south overlook! The Hiking possibilities are nearly endless and close. I'll highlight one thru hike here since both trailheads are only 20 minutes away and is easy to coordinate with only 2 vehicles. It's a 10.2 mile hike that can be done in either direction and has a little something for everyone including a cave, boulder field, cascade and waterfall. Then you have massive Watts Bar Lake which is only 20 minutes away with a plethora of activities including the excursions we offer! We look forward to hosting you!

Usually if someone comes down the road it is the Post Man, UPS or Fed EX except for the 4th of July when our boat dock is often a prime location for a big fireworks display. Usually can't tell a Saturday from a Tuesday most of the time as 80-90% of houses in the area are second vacation homes and unoccupied most of the year. Only 2 houses are located past ours before the cul-de-sac. We are separated by trees and woods on both sides. Private yet very Conveniently located. Getting around Plenty of Convenient Parking located across the concrete driveway. A Large Heavy Duty Wagon is Available for loading and unloading. Plenty of Great biking and hiking spaces are all around. Close to Knoxville, Cumberland Gap, The Smokey Mountains, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, Cherokee NC and plenty of options should you choose to leave the lake for a while or your against fishing in the rain. We are located approximately 8 Miles to New Tazewell Municipal Airport and about 9 Miles to Woodlake Golf & Country Club. Located at the edge of the prarie on the main trail is a sunrise/sunset/bird-watching platform that is 20 feet in the air with a 2 stage bridge to access it. We updated the outdoor kitchen with a 3 burner propane stove, propane grill and hot running water with a 3 bay sink. Other cooking options include a tripod over the fire and a charcoal grill. A short 10-minute drive to fire tower rd. brings you to a 2 mile loop trail with 2 waterfalls, Upper and Lower Piney Falls. Ozone falls is just a 20 minute drive. Then toward Spring City is Stinging Fork Falls at 25 minutes. Black mountain is my new favorite place especially the south overlook! The Hiking possibilities are nearly endless and close. I'll highlight one thru hike here since both trailheads are only 20 minutes away and is easy to coordinate with only 2 vehicles. It's a 10.2 mile hike that can be done in either direction and has a little something for everyone including a cave, boulder field, cascade and waterfall. Then you have massive Watts Bar Lake which is only 20 minutes away with a plethora of activities including the excursions we offer! We look forward to hosting you!

Usually if someone comes down the road it is the Post Man, UPS or Fed EX except for the 4th of July when our boat dock is often a prime location for a big fireworks display. Usually can't tell a Saturday from a Tuesday most of the time as 80-90% of houses in the area are second vacation homes and unoccupied most of the year. Only 2 houses are located past ours before the cul-de-sac. We are separated by trees and woods on both sides. Private yet very Conveniently located. Getting around Plenty of Convenient Parking located across the concrete driveway. A Large Heavy Duty Wagon is Available for loading and unloading. Plenty of Great biking and hiking spaces are all around. Close to Knoxville, Cumberland Gap, The Smokey Mountains, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, Cherokee NC and plenty of options should you choose to leave the lake for a while or your against fishing in the rain. Feel free to settle into the sofas and enjoy your favorite Netflix/Amazon shows. Or go outside and enjoy the amazing views of the Smoky Mountains, across our own flower fields, and onto the private airstrip that is adjacent to our property. From time to time you will actually see our neighboring pilots practicing with their aircraft. Vehicle access is clearly marked and very easy to navigate straight to the hangar. My wife and I stayed in the yurt to get away from the noise and celebrate my birthday and the Heart Center truly delivered. The land and energy this place holds is incredible. Liz was a fantastic host and both my wife and I were able to have a reiki session with her while staying here. To stay it was transformational for both of us would be an understatement. Both of us learned so much from our sessions and left the Heart Center feeling lighter both physically & emotionally. We loved our stay in the hangar! Adrienne and Dean were awesome hosts and the hangar has everything you need. There is plenty of outdoor space to enjoy with seating, fire pit options and is highlighted with all the beautiful flowers on the flower farm. Taking a walk through the property will just bring a smile to your face, the flowers are incredible and Adrienne is a wealth of knowledge. The property is near the western border of the Smokeys and close to the Cades Cove area of the park. A quick drive into Maryville will bring you to more urban amenities or activities as well. We felt very at home here and enjoyed cuddling the friendly dogs. If you are in the area, you are missing out by not experiencing this property! We will be coming back anytime we are in the area. Thanks Dean and Adrienne for an awesome trip!

This place is so cute and was perfect for us, our 3 year old, and our dog. Our son loved the tiny home, calling it, "my house". The house is thoughtfully designed making the most of the such a small space. We had everything we needed and more. We are used to primitive camping so it was nice to have more accommodations available like shower, stove, dishes, a Keurig & microwave. It's only about a 25 minute drive to Gatlinburg with a Walmart down the street as well to grab some groceries or extras you may need.

Everything went as expected. We wanted to disconnect and pretty much live off grid for a camping trip. While we did have phone service which was still a plus. We stayed in lake view cabin. No electric no modern anything. It is a hike up hill to that cabin. They say 5 min. I'm a older over weight lady so it took me a bit longer but my 17 year old ran up carrying stuff so definitely not to hard. Very peaceful and we do plan to return. We got to see a momma bear and 2 cubs about 2 miles from where we stayed so that was exciting too. Just remember your going to the mountains it is possible to see bears so be aware of your surroundings. But we slept with the windows and door open and had no problem at all.

You still have easy/quick access to I-40 off exit 412 for travel in any direction. 30 Minutes from Knoxville and Sevierville, about an hour to Gatlinburg, Asheville and the Tri-Cities areas. Nestled along the edge of Douglas Lake, minutes from Dandridge, the 2nd oldest town in Tennessee and you are surrounded by the history. The campsite is approx. 1/2 acre fully fenced and away from the road. Just drive through the double gate and park directly in front of the camper. Our camper is a 2024 (brand new) Wildwood Platinum 22ERAS opening concept 28' travel trailer. The campsites are down the hill and about 35 yards from the house. FYI, there is a wonderful Pizza and Wings restaurant just a couple minutes from the site. (Verardi's Pizza & Wings). INCLUDED WITH STAY: 1 use of the indoor Self-Service Doggy Wash Station and unleashed Private Dog Park use (2hrs per day) Both must be scheduled with host! We also offer our Camper as a mobile Rental, if you have a campsite and need a camper we will deliver & setup at your reserved campsite in the area. Message us for more info.
