This location is unreal and a true gem. Stunning water views and incredible stargazing. Care is put into this site - from the cleared camping space, dedicated fire pit and picnic table, and the well equipped outhouse (towels, toiletries, bug spray, water bottles, organic gummy bears - you name it). This site truly exceeded our expectations and we can’t wait to come back.

Had such a great stay here, I don’t think the pictures do it justice! Very private, beautiful views and the best Hipcamp bathroom I have ever experienced by a mile. By 10 miles! I really appreciated and was impressed by the included towels and extra toiletries offered. I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking to camp in the Beaufort area. We drove up from Jacksonville and it was well worth the trip, thanks for a great stay!

The trip was a great escape from the go go go of normal life. There is plenty of fun to be had without leaving the property. Once the local bait shop closes its 25 minutes one way to the next closest store so be sure to take what you need a soak in the relaxation and enjoy the peaceful views of this beautiful land.

Jonathan’s place was awesome—beautiful marsh views and so many different scenes to take in depending on the direction you’re looking. It is the type of property I’d have zero reservations recommending to others. He was super generous with firewood, which made a big difference for our campfires. The standalone bathroom was way nicer than I expected too.
It was pretty mosquito-y at first (to be expected by the marsh), but once we used bug spray and got the fire and Thermacells going, they weren’t much of an issue. Overall, just a really nice, extremely quiet, scenic spot to relax and enjoy . Would definitely come back. As would our 5, 6, and 7 yr olds.

Hanscomb point plantation gave us all we could handle and then some. Beautiful sites, perfect tree coverage due to our weather situation, Interesting pathways to travel due to that weather, but all in all a fantastic experience for our Troop to rest and grow as campers while staying in the area for the weekend. Thank you for the opportunity to stay on your land, some of those water hazards worried me for a bit when traveling out, but we managed like true scouts and blazed new pathways forward along the way. Would recommend your camping area to any asking.

Very nice spot! Excellent long marsh views. Secluded, well maintained, quiet spot(s) to setup. 2 thumbs up for the bath house. Host even put in a new 30 amp outlet for my camper, located near the bathhouse 100 feet from the table / fire pit. No see'ums are present even in October, so insect repellant highly reccommended. This was a work trip but I'll return for sure when possible for work or leisure! Happy travels-

I can't say enough about the beauty and tranquility of this land... I enjoyed the best midday nap of my life while camping here. The property is private, gets cell reception, and felt safe for camping as a solo female traveler. There were multiple spots to setup at; I situated my van for shade by day and for sunset views by night. Some spots are more protected by tress/brush if you prefer to tuck yourself away more. The bathhouse (w/ hot water & plumbing!) is nicer than anything you'd ever expect at a campsite and thoughtfully includes toiletries, should you forget your own. Having electricity to charge devices was a huge bonus.
The location is a distance from stores, etc., so if you don't care to venture out during your stay, make sure you have everything you need before you arrive. But DO be sure to drive a couple minutes back down the road for breathtaking sunrises over the marsh!
I didn't need to communicate much with John for my stay, but he was responsive and gave clear instructions for what little I did need. I will definitely stay here again if I return to the area.

This camp site was so beautiful 10/10 the cows, donkeys, and sheep are grazing right next to the tent camping.
